[10:21 AM EST - Watch out for stobor.]

What's up with me and networks lately? Last night, I couldn't see out of my home computer, and today, my work computer's FUBARed. Well, there was some fiddling around with my computer yesterday, but still.. I got in early today again (which will be a normal occurance for the next little while), but because I was early, all of the people who probably could've helped me aren't in yet. So instead, I'm working on this entry offline so that I'll have time to check and respond to e-mail when I get the chance. Quite annoying.

In any case, I finished "Tunnel in the Sky" last night. I wasn't exactly planning on finishing it all in one sitting, but I.. just.. couldn't.. stop! I should work more on my willpower in the future. Anyway, it was a pretty good read, although it had much less talk about the science and more on the psychological aspect of creating a colony. Umm, I don't want to spoil it for people who haven't read it yet, so I'll leave it at that. Although, when I saw stobor, the first thing that came to mind was: "robots?"

This morning, I found a nice indentation in the shower tiles. Years of wear and tear on the wall had left one part of the wall weak and easilly depressed. The grout has been cracked there for a while, and it was just a matter of time before someone accidentilly leaned on it and puta hole in the wall, although we've been pretty careful at avoiding putting pressure on that area. It must've happened recently because the break wasn't there yesterday. I have an idea as to who the culprit might be..

Great, I'm feeling a little tired from the lack of sleep last night. Exactly what the doctor did not order. Am I a great patient or what? *pops another pill*

[2:06 PM EST - Spring thaw.]

Boy is it a gorgeous day out there! And here I am getting my rays from a CRT. Fortunately, I did go out to grab lunch, so I was able to enjoy the (smog filled) fresh air. *breathes deeply*

FlyingS forwarded me a link to an e-bay auction. Man, you can sell just about anything on there can't ya? (And make money to boot!)

[6:01 PM EST - WTF?!?]

It seems like my computer's the only one on the network ATM that's having problems accessing the internet.

<- not having a good networking week.

Okay, time to see what the heck is going on here..

[6:30 PM EST - So THAT was the problem!]

It seems like both of my DNS servers were serving very well. I switched over to a couple of different ones (like Sciborg) so things are back up and running! Yay!

(First the network goes down, then my DNS servers down't work, what next?)

[6:54 PM EST - Lord of Destruction.]

Argh! After seeing the trailers for the Diablo II expansion, I really, really want to work at my character again.. *shakes fist* Must.. restrain myself..

Should go and eat instead..

[8:10 PM EST - Good, bad, I'm the guy with the gun.]

I can't remember if it was girl who came up with this observation, but it goes something like this:

Good, bad, it doesn't matter as long as you're cute.

This is in reference to getting in trouble.

[10:21 PM EST - LAWN.]

Hey, I want one of these LAWNs in my neighborhood! Okay, so I wouldn't be able to use it, but it's still neat nevertheless. I first saw this at the ShackNews.

Laz has something up about tutoring, while KGL threw up some sort of porn quote.
