[12:45 AM EST - To bed, to bed.]

Hey, It seems like SitV has updated his page recently. What the heck DOES he do though?

[10:08 AM EST - Time to make a few calls..]

Hmm, plans are good and all, if you have them. Anyway, I was checking the news and came across a few good ones at the ShackNews. The first is about some woman selling her husband, there's another about some guy trying to hide some cocaine while on trial, and finally, after the Creationist vs Evolutionist things I threw up a while back (twice actually), Evolution might be going out the window in Arkansas.

The ShackNews has a juicy link on the game ordinance in Indianapolis being overturned. There was also more of this "blame the shootings on violent video/games" linked too.

[Sunday, March 25, 2001: GTO.]

Hey hey! Hip hop today (which started pretty late) was different. We had a substitute show up to teach the class. It was a guy, and the routine he gave us was very different. Our warm ups were much more intense (IMNSHO) than our usual routine, and we went through the steps at a pretty blistering pace. It was good though, I didn't expect us to learn so much in one sitting! Our group was small, so that might've helped.

Afterward, it was time to pick up food for the gathering, (veggies, and bread, and cheese, and pie, and pasta, and ice cream! Oh my!) before going back to the house to write down the routine. (With funny looking stick figures. =) It wasn't long before people (HaremPresident, Werdna, girl, Jules, etc.) started to arrive, and we were cooking in no time! Well, it was more like "follow girl's directions, and then stand around and wonder what to do when she wasn't around". It was good though, I think we had fun making dinner, and the food (veggie pasta prima vera, bruscheta, dutch apple pie) was pretty darned good! *rubs tummy*

Afterward, I showed a couple of episodes of Kare Kano since Jules wanted to watch anime. That went over pretty well. After they left, we started watching GTO(I found something about why he wanted to become a teacher, which was not shown in the series, here).

You know what? Jax is right! That guy DOES look like Laz! When I saw the picture on the cover, I thought, "nah, not really". But after watching the first few minutes, I was thinking, "Whoa! Yeah, I could see him like that!" (I especially liked the biker scene with the backlit silhouette - trés cool.)

The acting seemed unpolished, and the camerawork seemed strange, although it's probably because I'm used to North American style shows. However, the stories were pretty good (we only saw two), and with HaremPresident translating, we were able to understand the plot pretty well! (Without pausing!) It's a pretty darned good show! ("Stop the rain!")

Next time, we have to get Laz over to see it. He probably won't agree with our observation that he and the teacher look very much alike, but, you never know. We gotta do this again sometime! (And maybe go through more of the series.)
