[9:49 AM EST - March break.]

That's funny, since nobody I know is getting this week off. (Well, nobody I know in my age group that is.) Well, I take that back, I do know a few teachers now, so I lied.

Anyhoo, I'm back at work, and my throat's still a bit sore. DP thinks I'm starting to sound like Barry Mannilow. Maybe I should start singing. *thinks* Maybe not.

No new work e-mail, so I can start cleaning up some of these older issues.

[1:59 PM EST - B2L, B2R.]

On my way to pick up lunch for the boys (I'm the delegated lunch getter, although now that I'm sick, I'm not sure if it makes any sense. *shrug* At least I don't cough on the food before I give it to them.), a song was playing on the radio, and the first thing that came to mind was a girl. A specific girl, who's name I will not mention here. But anyway, it brought back memories of high school, when we were young and stupid, and would find a song, and call it "our song" just because.. it made sense (I guess). Now that I'm older and wiser. (Okay, maybe older and more bitter.) Calling a song "our song" seems.. dumb. Ask me again once I'm taken and see if I've changed my mind.

[9:04 PM EST - Psychological barriers.]

Hey hey! It seems as if KGL finally got her domain up and running. Mind you, I thought she wrote karenluk.com so I wasn't exactly sure what she was smoking, but on closer examination, I realized that she wrote karenluk.ca, so I'm particularly sure what I was smoking. In any case, there it is.

Has anybody still been investing in the stocks? Well, we broke through another psychological barrier today. Nasdaq down below 2000 and the TSE is below 8000. Yahoo! Go bears go! Go bears go!

[9:24 PM EST - Naw, it can't be..]

I've been sick for nearly a week. This hacking cough and sore throat is really getting on my nerves (although I did feel much better this morning). One of my coworkers said that I sounded like Barry Manilow and should pick up some chicks before I get better. I think I'll pass on that idea. I believe that the human body can take care of itself in most routine sicknesses. This school of thought fails during situations when the sickness is misdiagnosed (which can happen with doctors, so there's a good chance that a person would believes that he/she's suffering from a mild fever is in fact suffering from menengitis). Hmm, maybe I have TB? *coughs* Naw. *coughs*

*pause*

I think I'll go and get it checked tomorrow.

[10:58 PM EST - Electric Ferrari.]

Well, not quite, but someone's touting an electric car that will outaccelerate a Ferrari. (Although it still only has a range of 90 miles and takes an hour to recharge.)
