[11:19 AM EST - I hate people who use TLAs.]

Morning folks, what's up? Yes, it's snowing again. Apparently, we're just a few days away of breaking the record of number of consecutive days with snow on the ground! (The old record is around 96 days.) Cool beans. I'm not so sure about you, but I do not think that this winter was all too cold. It wasn't as warm as last year, *takes out old man cane* but when I was short.. *puts back old man cane* You get the picture.

It seems as if drivers in this area forget how to drive in snow very quickly. Traffic was pretty bad on the way to work, and I noticed one fender bender on the way. Actually, what I noticed first was a cop car, with it's lights flashing, going the wrong way down the street I was on (traffic was stop-and-go on my side, and completely clear on the other). He then pulled into a parking lot, pulled a donut, turned off his lights, and came to a stop. I found that stunt a little confusing, until the van next to me moved and I noticed the accident he pulled up next to. "Ahh, he wasn't just showing off," I thought to myself.

I was thinking about the forum idea last night and I came up with two possible methods I can do it. Both have good and bad points, but I'll think about it some more.

I heard on the radio another trivia question. This one's a little harder (for me). What trait do forty percent of cats have?

[1:02 PM EST - CTRL-A Executive Trading Cards.]

I'm sorry, but I had to mention that someone suggested that the club (CTRL-A) design some trading cards. I was laughing so hard at that idea. Will it ever come to pass? Well, like most of the ideas ever put forward, the answer is: Highly unlikely.

[1:26 PM EST - This is more like it.]

I got a link from KNZ about the proposed new interchange for highway 86 and highway 7 in Kitchener. I like it. Of course, I like most big highway building projects because they're cool, but I think it's worth the investment. The area is growing quickly, and a better (and faster) interchange is required to take into account the expected growth in traffic. We don't want the fiasco of the highway 86 and highway 8 interchange. (They still haven't started building the flyover have they?)

[2:22 PM EST - On the topic of highways..]

I read about this story a while ago, and I noticed an article in the Star today with a speculative map of the proposed changes, and with this talk about highways, I wanted to throw up a link to the article about the proposed new highways for the "Golden Horseshoe" (once known not-so-affectionately as "The Armpit") region.

However, the article's main focus was on the possibility that most of these roads will be tolled. Man, before the 407, we haven't had a tolled road in Ontario for forty years? Man, this is going to be interesting.

[5:03 PM EST - Oh hey.]

Here's today's article about the proposed highway improvements.

While I'm here, I'm glad my shirt's still in my dresser.

[6:35 PM EST - Sushi?]

I was waffling a little about going to a pot luck until girl told me:

"..I have to go now because we want to make sushi."

Sushi? *ears perk up* I'm there! *runs off*
