[4:13 PM EST - Sand in my eyes.]

I just got back from playing indoor beach volleyball this afternoon. Oi, it was pretty fun. None of us were particularly good, so things were fairly hectic. However, we weren't complete tools, so we did get some good volleyball action going. There was supposed to be more people showing up.. but they canceled on us. It's okay, it's okay. More volleyball for the rest of us (fourteen people eventually showed up to play).

I got a faceful of sand late in the game (we played for two hours) and that put me out of comission for a few minutes while I had to clear away the grit from my eyeballs. Not fun stuff, but no permanent damage done. I think I'm going again! I didn't realize that there were such things as indoor beach volleyball, but hey, I'm not complaining. The next gettogether is in two weeks. I think I'll mark it down on my calendar.

[9:04 PM EST - I'm hippin', I'm hoppin'.]

Yeowch, I just finished washing the dishes and taking a shower. (Shower first, dishes second.) Darned scratches I got from yesterday really stung when I got them wet. It was even worse than this morning! It must've gotten a little irritated from playing beach volleyball this afternoon, but I really needed to clean off that layer of sand..

Hip hop was good. A few more (female) people showed up today, and I didn't feel so bad for being so uncoordinated. I even vaguely remember the routine we were taught last week. Vaguely.

Have you seen these guys? Also, there's some interesting Creationists vs Evolution stuff here. I got both of these links at the ShackNews.

In other stuff, Sparky's addicted to Dawson's Creek, while NVM's suffocating..
