[11:16 AM EST - Beforenoon.]

Well I'll be! An entry before noon! Will wonders never cease? I'll keep this short. I watched part 2 of "Dune" last night, and I found that it carried a lot of the story that was not explained in the movie. It went more in depth into the lives and traditions of the Fremen and it was pretty interesting to watch. It also took a closer look at some of the secondary characters (like the princess) so we'll see how all of these threads tie together in part 3 on Thursday. Oh yeah, the quoted length of six hours is not quite accurate for the length of this mini-series. That length includes commercials, and there are a lot of them. I'd peg the total length to be closer to four-and-a-half hours.

KGL's got another update up, as does NVM (who's out shopping for headless, armless manequins).

[1:45 PM EST - Printer.]

I'll be spending most of today installing the printer on the Linux box. This shouldn't be too hard, but the question is whether or not I'll be able to hook up the scanner as well..

[3:32 PM EST - It's alive!]

I got the printer working! Yay! The only problem now is that I don't know if it'll work on the WinME box properly yet. Also, I can't seem to get the printer to be useable unless you type in your user password. Quite annoying..

[5:36 PM EST - New dates.]

I've finally decided to implement my new date updating script for the site and it seems to be working now! Unfortunately, I (unsmartedly) had modified all of the indicies of each section so now all of the dates are more-or-less the same ATM. No worries! Things should spread out as the days pass. I might link the script to a cron job, but I'll have to keep thinking about it..

[6:12 PM EST - More new dates.]

Ooh, now the main index is updated to the latest date. Things are looking up. All I have to do now is to figure out a good way to generate a site map from this data..

[10:27 PM EST - Tag.]

I just came up from watching the Leafs lose to the Predators. Dang did they have a lot of chances..

Anyway, the game of tag continues. I was able to catch CJF, but the other player was nowhere to be found.. *ominous music*

I've also nearly finished that script I was working on. It should be able to generate the Site Map every time I run it and make the proper updates accordingly. This should make it a lot easier for me. Keeping those dates correct was a pain in the butt.

Why does ingenuity come from laziness? *shrug*

[11:23 PM EST - Ready for bed.]

Yay! The scripts done and it works! I should go to sleep early tonight since I have to get up early tomorrow. Yup. That interview thing. I guess I'll be wearing a suit again. *hangs head*

Anyway, while I'm mulling over that thought, I came across some interesting stuff from the pipe. ArsTechnica had a link to an interesting NASA article about LEDs that can heal. The ShackNews on the other hand had an article about some guy who saved a woman from getting run over by a truck. He attributed his quick thinking and lighting fast reactions to playing UT. Uh.. what do you think?

Personally, I think it's time to go to sleep. I think I'll work on my own reflexes on Friday. (Hacker time!)
