[1:35 AM EST - More Tigers and Dragons.]

Howdy folks. I guess I'll be pretty busy over the next little while with my new job and MJO's visit. Right after I got off work, I headed straight for home so that I could call up Laz to see what was happening tonight. Along the way, I hit a rather large traffic jam which I found out later was due to the Canadian Tire gas station which was selling gas at 60.9 cents a litre. That's cheap! I was tempted to add my car to the parking lot that was growing around the station, but I resisted the urge because I was already later than I had expected. Too bad the prices went back up soon after.. (They're up to at least 68 cents now.)

Giving Laz a call, I got to talk with MJO and figure out some details. Well, not really. Those guys are pretty unorganized when it comes to events, and this was no exception. It was eventually decided to watch "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" tonight after going out for dinner. So, after a bit of deliberation on where to eat, Zippy, louder, MJO, Laz, and I went out to Kelsey's for dinner, after which Werdna was picked up and we headed to the theatre to grab tickets (ten minutes before the show started at 9:55).

It was sold out. Argh! We quickly hurried back to Laz's place to call around and see if there were tickets available elsewhere. We found a Silver City that was playing the movie at 10:10 and we hurried off to catch the show (which was 65% sold out the last time we heard). We got there, got our tickets, and found seats. Well, I can't really say that they were good seats. They were in the second row. I have not sat so close to the movie screen since I saw "I Married an Axe Murderer" oh so many years ago. (And that time, I had someone to distract me so I didn't care where I sat.) Second row at the Silver City watching an action film like this was not a good idea. After getting over the granuality of the picture and the motion sickness in the first few minutes, I realized that you lost a lot of the action and choreography when you're sitting that close to the screen. That's too bad. I hope the guys who hadn't seen the movie before go see it again in a better spot.

I came home right afterward, but we've got plans for tomorrow (well, tonight). Well, I THINK we have plans..

Since it's getting late, I think it's time for me to call it a night. Night!

[9:28 AM EST - Morning!]

Wow, I'm up before ten! (I actually got up at eight again.) Will wonders never cease? (First a job, then I get up in the mornings.) I've got some more reading to do, and a bit of research and analysis. Before I go, I'll just mention that KGL and Laz both have some updates up. KGL's throwing up something about her skiing trip, so that might be interesting for people who are interested in stuff like that. What the heck did I just say there? *rereads sentence* That says absolutely nothing! Yeesh, maybe it is too early in the morning for me. *shrug* I'll just blame it on the excess photons that I was exposed to last night.

Okay, work awaits..

[4:49 PM EST - Ah ha..]

Well, I'm getting off work soon. I have a couple of errands to run before heading out to Laz's place to meet the gang so that we can go out and eat sushi! *rubs tummy* Aww, too bad KGL can't join us. (Which means more sushi for me!)

Okay, time to pack up..
