[9:20 AM EST - Bouchard.]

Hey, I just read in the paper that Lucien Bouchard is planning to quit today! For those of you who don't know, he's the leader of the Parti Quebecois and premier of Quebec. He'll be addressing the cabinet or house or whatever at eleven so we'll know what the official news is by that time..

Hmm, I can't think of anything else to say. I think it all fell out on the way to work. Oh well!

[9:36 AM EST - Do you want sex with that?]

Oww.. I nearly poked myself in the eye.. *rubs eyeballs* Don't ask how that happened. I was just scratching my eyelid and then..

Nevermind.

I did a quick survey of what new things have been going on in journalland and it seems as if Laz's site is back up (after being down for a day). HaremPresident also has added to his photo page. (More baby pics! You'd never catch me showing my baby pics! *eyes girl*) Finally, NVM's gotten better, and you know what's on her mind..

[11:16 AM EST - Information.]

I've been thinking for a while about this, especially after I heard about the team that was able to get light to go faster than c, although they didn't violate relativity because no information was passed. (I can't remember where that article went.) Further, when considering Hawking radiation from black holes, one realizes that matter is not destroyed indefinitely, but is eventually released back into the universe, although all of the information originally contained in that matter is lost. Are there any books or articles detailing the creation, conservation, and destruction of information?

I also thought that it would be kind of cool to put together some sort of TV (or mini) series based on the short stories in the Foundation Trilogy plus the two short stories "Trantor Falls" and "The Originist". Oh well, enough daydreaming..

[8:37 PM EST - IIS.]

I just came back from work. Yeah, it's a little late, but there was this Microsoft representative there giving seminars about some Microsoft products. The one he was talking about today (which is actually the second half of this seminar - I couldn't make the first because of broomball) was IIS. There were some interesting aspects about that program, although I'm going to stick with Apache. WAST seemed interesting though, and since it's apparently free, I'm going to check it out at some point in time. Until then, I've got some news to read.

[9:44 PM EST - The usual.]

Laz and KGL both threw up updates. Laz has quite a lengthy recap of one of his dreams. Much running and mayhem involved.

I also found this link at the ShackNews. A warning to always remember to check your labels.

Anyway, I should go and sleep or something. Maybe just something.
