[12:09 AM EST - One more week of freedom.]

How are you all doing guys? I didn't end up doing much. I ended up watching the better part of the Battlestar Galactithon on Space. After dinner, one of my cousins from out of town (who's family is staying at my place ATM) got one of his friends in town to take us out to his company to play pool and ping-pong. It must be nice to have a rec room at your place of work huh? Anyway, I invited Laz out as well (who'll probably have his own story to tell) and he joined us a little while later. It was very fun, and I haven't played pool or ping-pong in a while. Well, maybe not pool, but ping-pong has been something I haven't done for years..

Plans for the week? Well, I don't have all too much. There was that high school gathering, and MJO's impending arrival (although I have yet to get a call from that boy). Now there's a possible snowboarding trip and maybe more skating. (If I can drag Jax out that is.) We'll see.

[12:30 PM EST - What to do..]

I'm trying to figure out something to do with the relatives. Being winter, and having snow around in abundance, a winterish activity sounds good right? Well, skiing is a possibility, but I doubt they'll go for it. Skating on the other hand..

Now all I have to do is to find a schedule for a rink which rents skates which means I have to find a rink that rents skates. I know just the expert in that area!

Laz and KGL both threw up some Boxing day updates so you may be interested to see what's going on in their lives.

[2:04 PM EST - Time to be paranoid.]

Hmm.. I've had someone hacking into my Linux box yesterday. That's quite annoying. I think I've got some security issues to address and other things to clean up. I don't know if anything's been compromised, but I'm no security expert. *sigh* I've got some sifting to do.

[2:47 PM EST - It's not so bad.]

At least I didn't leave all of my doors unlocked. After a bit of a scare, I realized that the hacker (a script kid most likely) didn't actually do much. Too bad, I should've kept the password files to see what passwords they used. Next time..

[5:07 PM EST - Woburn.]

Hey! I just got a link from girl. Apparently, my old high school has a homepage! *checks site* Ick. Well, I didn't say that it was aesthetically pleasing to look at. (No comments about my site!) I still think that it's kind of interesting to see. Well, maybe not. I don't recognize anyone in those many pictures (except for Mr. Bell) and none of the stuff there really applies to me anyway. Oh well.

[6:31 PM EST - Vaporware.]

I was doing some perusing on the ShackNews and came across this link on the top ten vaporware items in 2000. One that caught my fancy was the electronic film system from Silicon Film Technologies. Too bad it's nowhere to be found. Fortunately, I wouldn't have had the money to spend on it anyway, so this is a good thing.

I spent the last little while responding to e-mail and getting caught up. I plan to be burning backups tonight, but we'll see if there's anything scheduled..

[10:49 PM EST - Mario.]

Yay! Mario's back. Too bad they beat the snot out of the Leafs tonight. We went out for drinks with a couple of my cousins from both branches of the tree after dinner. Man that was a lot of food.

Anyway, I should get going.
