[3:12 PM EST - Sunny day.]

What a nice day it is out there. Well, if you don't mind the bitter cold. I've got to go and take a shower since I wasn't able to take one this morning (no hot water). We went out to eat lunch at Market Village. What a bad idea. The place was packed. It took us nearly two hours to find a table. Any table. I was planning to go out, grab a quick bite, and then come on back to catch a phone call, but I came back too late. Fortunately, there were no calls for me so I didn't feel so bad. I had salmon sashimi. *rubs tummy* Mmm.. wasabi. It's good for you too!

Alright. Time to check on news.

[3:34 PM EST - Laz is Cast Away.]

There's some news to check out, but I didn't bother linking anything. Microsoft and Intel are both floundering in the markets, and I think they've got a bit more distance to fall before picking themselves back up again. (Hmm.. maybe I should consider investing? *looks at economic outlook* Nah. *puts more money into GIA*)

Anyway, Laz is the only one to have updated recently. I should check to see if he's interested to start another war against Shodan sometime soon. Actually, I'm still not sure what the heck we're going to do when MJO gets down here. We don't even know how long or where he'll stay! *looks exasperated* What to do?

[10:10 PM EST - The stage is set.]

So the plans have been made and the stage has been set. I heard from Jax about a certain "hot" girl who I should check out at some point in time. Problem is, her definition of "hot" could be my definition of "wolf". *shrug* We'll see.

Oh, I also called up SLWD today to see how he was doing. I haven't talked to the guy in a year or so. His mom picked up the phone and I asked if he was home. He was not. Then she asked,

"Is this [QYV]?"

*shocked look* (which could not be conveyed over the phone) Whoa! That was pretty stunning. Apparently she didn't recognize my voice per se, but she did recognize my phone number. That's pretty good considering that I've only called him four or five times in the past five years.

Maybe he just doesn't get a lot of phone calls?

girl's going out to Montreal tomorrow. I was half tempted to give her a letter to give out to a certain person, but I figured that it would be too inconvenient. Besides, I'm not THAT cheap! Sending stuff through s-mail is only 46 cents.

Still no word from that MJO boy. I'm wondering if he'll ever be coming down at all! I only have several days left before I have to start working..

*looks at remaining presents*

Well, I guess I'll have to mail these things out as well. I wasn't able to see a certain someone during the break and now I won't be able to hand these things out. *grumbles about postage costs*

Okay, I should get going. I need to get up (relatively) early tomorrow so I should be getting some sleep tonight!

[10:44 PM EST - Before I hop into bed..]

I just found some links at the ShackNews that some of you may find interesting. The first is about some woman who's suing Midway because she thinks that "Mortal Kombat" is the cause of her son's death. Also, some news site in Albuquerque is charging fifty dollars to link to it's articles. Goody. That's one site I won't plan on visiting. Also, there may be some problems with episode 2..

You know what? The shower head holder broke in our bathroom this morning. I don't know who did it, but it's pretty annoying having to hold onto the thing while I'm trying to lather myself. Yeah, yeah, I put it down eventually, but I like soaping one spot while rincing another. It also makes it difficult to wash my hair. I really need both hands to scrub through my overgrown mop to keep it clean. *rubs head* Time to get a hair cut.
