Funny. I think this is the first time I've ever seen a review for a trailer. I was reading the Toronto Star this morning and came across a review for the "Fellowship of the Ring" trailer. The trailer itself was less than two minutes long but it elicited quite a long article. It debuts today alongside "13 Days" and got three stars. Three stars! For a trailer? Good lord, the movie won't even come out until December! I'm telling you, ever since Episode 1..
I just hope the movie isn't over hyped. Speaking of which, there hasn't been any hype of the upcoming "Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within". When is it coming out? I want my CGI fix! While I'm on this topic, I'm thinking of showing off the Diablo 2 cutscenes to girl. She was impressed by Final Fantasy VIII, so this should be good..
This morning, I've figured out that I have much less control over the travel time than originally thought. True, the time it takes for me to get to work depends on the time I leave the house, but more often than not, it is more dependent on the weather, construction, or accidents. Today, it was an accident that slowed me down. *sigh* If I had been biking..

Something quick before I go. KGL's not been getting her work done, while Laz has thrown up a couple of links. NVM's got some stuff up as well. That's about it. I'm going to try to do some banking stuff (again) so I should head out soon..
Oh, another thing (or two), I just got myself an optical mouse, and I got some pictures developed (well, they got developed a few days ago, but I never mentioned it until now). I still have to finish posting some of those pictures I scanned before, but one thing at a time..

Guess what I got in the mail today? Yupper! I got to try out Mechwarrior 4. It does seem a little more arcady than the MW2, and it isn't as visually stunning as MW3, but I like how they changed the mech lab to force certain weapons in certain spots. It seems a little more realistic, and a bit more challanging. I'll say more about that when I've played more, but it runs VERY choppy on my system even at low resolutions.
I went to the bank today. I finally made it to a branch that was open at this time of day, only to find out that I couldn't do what I wanted to do here. I have to go back to Waterloo. Sucky. At least I was able to do some other stuff.
Oh, guess what? I got a call from MPS! What the heck? It was right out of the blue. I found out what had happened over the past month or so before I got kicked off the phone. Anyway, I should go. I need to get up early tomorrow.
