It seems as if I'm awake early on this wet weekend. Not much planned for today, but that means that I can do "stuff". (I'm not sure what "stuff" is, but I can do it!)
Oh hey, I found this neat article about the war between smart cards and the satellite TV companies on the ShackNews. The method they used was brilliant!
On another note, there are some new pictures up on Clone*Army. It seems as if DK was trying to immortalize VanPi. *looks* Number 2's better, although it doesn't really look like her.. er.. because she looks cuter IRL. Yeah, that's it.
Hey! I finally got to see that episode of "Great Canadian Rivers" that I recorded on Monday. Yup, MS got his fifteen minutes of fame there. Well, if you totaled up his appearences on camera and voiceovers, I think you'd get closer to five minutes, but it's still good right?
Well, well. It does seem as if I've started to go crazy with cookies. I'm planning on setting up all of my dynamic scripts to use cookies so that a chosen style scheme will be used for all of those pages. Of course, a good fraction of my pages are static, which raises the question: "What the heck am I gonna do with them?".
I think I'm going to limit my cookie use to just the journal pages, but then, people who don't use cookies will be left out of the loop right? Well.. I think I can get around that too. It'll be a fair bit of coding, but I've got something up my sleeves..

Anyway, I have to go and fill in for an MJ spot. I'll be back to code at a later time.

Hmm.. I think I'm finished with setting up the scripts on the dynamic journal pages. If there are any problems, give me a shout, and I'll see if I can fix it. I nearly had a javascript problem, but fortunately, it was just a misinterpretation on my part. *smacks head*
Yeah, sorry to bore with this computer stuff, I haven't had this much fun with features (read: potential bugs) for a while, what with cookies and all.
Now, while I was updating my scripts to accept multiple styles, I came up with this idea to add styles to those static journal scripts, and maybe all of my static pages. Unfortunately, this will require running a calling script, which might be slow (for some reason, scripts usually run slow off the LAN). It's a very simple script though. I think I'll try to implement it anyway.
Oh yeah, I never got around to playing MJ. I got caught up in all of this scripting, and by the time I was ready to go, they had finished. Yay! Less money to lose! *thumbs up*

HaremPresident sent me a link to some Thundercats outtakes. I haven't seen that show in many, many, many years, and even when I was watching it, it was very, very, very sparoddic.
On a less interesting note, I've been able to put up a script that will allow me to use multiple style files, but the problem is, I have to change all of my scripts again. *hangs head* I don't think I'm ready for that. Not just yet at least. For now, I'll just try it on the Journal links, so you guys can check it out for yourselves.

I wish they'd given some actual details on what they did - the article was pretty vague.
