[1:00 AM EST - Good morning.]

Just wanted to throw something up before I went to bed (and wake up the next morning groggy, tired, and annoyed).

Anyway, Laz has a link on his page to some diary of a runaway. I don't know if it's real/true or not, but you may want to read it. KGL also threw something up about her weekend. (Like "Reeking havoc".) Finally, NVM's seems to fit in some pretty small clothes..

From the ShackNews comes a host of links. One about a possible madcow thing at McDonalds, another on military exoskeletons, and a third on some guy who wants to offer gaming as a minor at the university of California Irvine.

[9:42 AM EST - Good morning! (Again)]

How are you all doing folks? I'm getting settled in here at work right now so I've got time to throw something up. I've got some e-mail to respond to, but that shouldn't take too long (as opposed to yesterday, man some messages can get awfully long). I don't have too many plans for tonight, I'm just going to go out and watch "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon".

What? Why are you looking at me like that? *shrug*

Anyway, Laz threw up something about his birthday, and started to delve into a story about his past.. but stopped. *sigh* Another day perhaps. Laz's past will remain hidden for the rest of us..

I think that's about it. Let's get some work done huh?

[1:56 PM EST - Money.]

Yay! I got my first paycheque today! I'm rich! I'm rich! I'm leaving you now! *runs off* (That's a Stonaday quote.)

Since I'm on the topic of money, I found out that the Bank of Canada is going to be revamping their bills. They're going to remove all of the birds that currently reside on the backside, replacing them with a yet-to-be-determined new design. They're also going to add new anticounterfeiting measures. Time to hoard my bills!

[11:18 PM EST - Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon - take three.]

Well, I just got back from watching "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon". After a prisoner swap at Kennedy station, we went out to eat (at the same place I went to CJF with last millennium - okay, joke's getting old.. a thousand years old! Okay, okay, I'll stop now.) before rushing down to the the theatre fifteen minutes into the movie. (The waitress we had was overly motherly, although it didn't bother me much since I was gorging on food due to our time constraints.) On the way into the room, I noticed the lights dimmed and nearly went out for about half a second. That sort of surprised me. I knew it had just started to snow outside, but I didn't expect any power outages. Inside the room, things seemed normal (and fortunately, no front seats for us!) until five minutes from the end of the movie, near a climactic event, the screen went hazy and then the fluorescent lights came on. Everyone in the theatre was shocked and started looking around for answers. First of all, the rooms never use their fluorescent lights unless they were cleaning or something, which meant that something was wrong. We sat around for a minute before we got word that the power had gone out. (Really? Then why were all the lights on?) We waited patiently before the lights went out and the filler came on. It took a few more minutes before the film started to run again. Things continued on smoothly until two minutes from the end, when the power went out AGAIN! Good grief! It didn't really affect me since I knew exactly what was going to happen, but we still picked up some free passes anyway. Too bad there's nothing good out to see.. (Hmm, when's Episode 2 and Final Fantasy coming out?)

Well, that's about it. It was a pretty good night. I enjoyed it.

[11:58 PM EST - I could've sworn..]

I thought that I had thrown these up already, but I realized (later) that I hadn't. Laz has quite a bit of stuff up, links and memories, comments and conclusions. KGL's got some sort of Cancer thing up, while FlyingS has updated his page. HaremPresident added a guestbook thing on his, and finally, NVM's got a new look. Phew! Too much stuff, to little time..

I've been thinking of ways of improving my search engine. Unfortunately, I've been given a project to work on, so I won't have time to play around with these ideas for quite some time..
