[11:37 AM EST - Whee!]

I'm up! Actually, I've been up since eight this morning. The interview was slated for ten, but it was pretty close by so I figured it would take about ten minutes to get there. Well, I thought it might take ten minutes until I stepped outside to pick up the newspaper. *watches the snow piling up on street*

Oh goody.

I gave myself half-an-hour to make it to the interview and relized five minutes into the drive that I might've underestimated my transit time. I ended up stuck in traffic for a good twenty minutes before it broke up. Conveniently, this ate up the exact amount of time I had alloted for slack and I made it to the site right on time! *pumps fist*

But I still had to wait. *hangs head*

Oh well, things went well and I start working next year. What? Yeah, I've got a job. Why are you all looking at me like that? Geez..

Ahem. I guess it's time to check the news.

[12:44 PM EST - News.]

Not much to report. Prices are going down, revenues are dropping, markets are slumping, recession worries are growing, Christmas is coming. 'Tis the season. Waitaminute, isn't this time usually when prices go up, revenues rise, and markets rally?

Oh well, I've got other things to worry about.

I just came in from shovelling the driveway. The snow today was the dry and light fluffy stuff. Easy to push around, but it just gets blown back into place and you're back to square one. Fortunately, the wind was nigh imperceptable, so I was treated to another easy day out.

KGL and Laz both have stuff up, as does NVM.

I guess it's time for me to tinker around with my biological clock. No more late nights for me!

<- makes resolution.

I'm very tempted to bike to work every day. It's fairly close by and I need the exercise. I'll have to think about it.

[8:29 PM EST - Argh!]

Argh! I can't believe that I erased it all! Too bad there's no undo button on forms! Argh! *sigh* I'm so used to escaping out of text mode in vim that I keep erasing my entries on my updating form. Piss me off. Oh well, I'll try to remember what I said.

I went out to shovel the snow before dinner. I really didn't see any pressing reason to scrape off the pancake-thin layer of snow that had accumulated since the last time I had cleared off the white stuff earlier today. *shrug* Hi ho, hi ho..

I'm planning on going skating tomorrow and play hockey on Saturday. I haven't played hockey for.. ten years now? Even then, it didn't really count since none of us had played before, and I spent most of my time trying to maintain my balance. I hope I fare better this time than I did with my attempts at roller hockey since I'm much more comfortable on the ice than I am on asphalt or the stuff we were playing on.

Oh yeah, MJO should be coming to town next week. Anyone have any ideas of what we could do? I'm not even sure how long that boy will be staying in town for. Maybe a full night of Risk again? (This time Laz and I will ally right off the bat and crush all of our opponents! *smashes table*) Perhaps a full night of System Shock 2? Dreamcast? Drinking? (While I'm the one driving.) The possibiliities are endless! Well, not quite, but I'd like to think so.

Oh yeah, I got another Christmas card today. It's from someone who I (guess I still) have a crush on! *beams* What? No, you're not going to take a look at my Christmas cards..

Anyway, I've got some dishes to wash and some Dune to watch. I've got to figure out some new project for me to work on now that my update script is (more-or-less) complete. *rubs chin*
