So I'm in at a somewhat less than respectable time. I forgot to mention yesterday that I sent my blackboard home. Figured that I wouldn't be using it anytime this summer, and besides, I have no place to hang it up (without putting a huge hole in the wall at least). Also, I forgot to mention that time on the bus that it was the first time a stranger asked me about my standing habits. The first time! (After all these years.) You'd think more people would notice, but eh.. I prefer it this way.
Got some links for some reviews of 'X' from KNZ. Here's one, two, and three. He also mentions
There was also a trailer for it at the Princess Cinema. It contained dubbing of the worst, most hurtin', lab-rat-cancer-causin' variety. Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow.
I remember watching 'X' a couple of years back and I'm inclined to agree that unless you understand the characters (from watching basically all of Clamp's stuff over the past few years) you won't get a good feeling for the movie. Even if you did, I don't think it was as good as it could've been. Mind you, they were craming a lot of stuff into a hour-and-a-half epic which just can't be done. Anyway, after reading up the synopsis of the Utena movie, I'm also a little worried about it as well.

Went to Jose's for lunch again today. We were caught by surprise by the sudden downpour and the realization that they had no burgers today. No burgers you say? No burgers today. We had to eat more healthy (and more expensive) food instead. Wah.
Quite an uneventful day. Some comments about standing on the bus and talking with stragers on the bus. I don't know how the heck Growly manages to pull off those amazing encounters when all I get to show for it is some weirdo I bumped into on the way back from South Carolina, and a missionary at the bus station. Where are all the good looking females when I'm taking the bus?!?
I dunno, do you guys have any interesting bus stories you want to share? I remember getting into a car accident on the way back to Toronto from Waterloo. We hit a taxi I think, although I didn't feel a thing. We were also three minutes away from my stop (which kinda sucked since we sat there in the middle of the intersection for god knows how long). The driver looked a little frantic when he passed out these little forms asking us some questions on where we were sitting and if we noticed the accident.
Hmm.. that wasn't particularly interesting.
Not much happened today. The rain's let up a bit I think so I should head back ASAP. Fixed some bugs with my scripts, but not much of an improvement I'm afraid.
Oh well, till tomorrow.

Okay, so I got stuck here a little longer than anticipated. I forgot to check the updates so I went surfing around (after finishing off a couple more Counter-Strike missions) and saw that Laz and Tiffi have updates! Laz recounts his weekend in Montréal, while Tiffi has this story about Operation: Save Grandma.
We've got a new fridge at the house, although I'm not sure if we can use it yet seeing as it's on the other side of the kitchen (the old fridge is in it's usual place again). It's kind of confusing, but I think I'll let someone else test the waters first before I plunge in head-first.
Okay, NOW it's time for me to go. I've got some e-mail to respond to and some stuff to type up. Too bad I got distracted by.. boredom. Hrumph. Anyway, I best be going now.

Well, if it makes you feel any better, I seem to remember Kyle asking me why you stood on the bus. I think most people notice, but how many times do people strike up conversations with total strangers on the bus? Generally speaking, I get worried when people strike up conversations with me on public transportation...

I think I remember that. And I'm STILL not satisfied with the answer.

What, people strike up convos on the greyhounds all the time with me! There was this girl from Kingston who was a Gwyneth Paltrow lookalike... she was cute, and we even had a mutual acquaintance!
I've been accosted twice at the TO bus station, even. Once was a statuesque brunette who turned out to be the Klingon at Canada's Wonderland that I "married"; then there was a girl-next-door blond who had just quit Bible College in the Sault and was interested in my black plastic pants (hehe, let the corruption begin!)
Hmm... I kinda feel bad now that my busing days are over...
