[Monday, May 22, 2000: Blind May lunch.]

This morning I called up MPS to see what the kid was up to. Wanted to do a lunch thing since I had missed her birthday. I ended up waking her up and talking to a half-comotose zombie for a few minutes before she told me that she'd call back when she was fully concious. I took that time to go to the bank to check out how my funds were doing. Once I got to the bank, I was told that there was an hour wait but seeing as I had nothing else to do..

Well, that wasn't particularly interesting, but I have much less disposable income now. Fortunately I'm being paid this Friday! Yay!

Finally got in touch with a coherent MPS and arranged a lunch time. Well, it was a good lunch and we had an interesting conversation. You know, there are days that people look good, and there are days that people look bad. This was one of those days that MPS looked really cute despite being wearing attire you'd probably wouldn't want to be seen in public. *looks down* Okay, so I shouldn't be talking, but I just wanted to mention that.

Went back downtown to drop off the tapes and as I was walking back to the subway station, I decided to fish for a bus token from my wallet. I just happened to be passing by this blind begger when I pulled out my wallet (well, he was carrying a walking stick and his eyes looked closed) and just as I was about to walk past him I heard,

"Wait!"

I stopped and I turned around. The "blind" begger had his hand out in front of him (which wasn't in my direction of course), and staring into space (not in my direction as well) he asked,

"Spare some change?"

Fishing in, I decided to give him the first coin that I got my fingers on. Putting it into his hands, I saw that it was a Toony. He then said,

"God bless you."

Yeah, whatever.

Showed off some Escaflone last night, but that's about it for Saturday.
