[10:38 AM EDT - Where's my air conditioning?]

Geez, it's been warm and humid for the past few days, and the air conditioners in our area don't seem to be working. Actually, our air conditioners haven't been pumping out any cold air for a couple of months now! I'm getting a little worried about that because our room gets mighty hot when the sun starts shining through our window..

So I finished The Fellowship of the Ring. Onto The Two Towers!

I spent most of this morning packing up some stuff that I wouldn't be needing for the next little while. I figure that I might as well start moving stuff back to Toronto a bit at a time before I have to move out at the end of the summer. (Why I'm not packing for next week, I don't know..) While I was moving stuff around, I came across this tape with a certain song on it based on.. er.. Eine Klein? Something like that. girl gave me a copy a while ago and I'm planning on transfering it to MP3 so I don't lose it. Now all I have to do is figure out the name of the song..

[11:57 AM EDT - Jax does London.]

Despite downplaying the possibility of seeing frequent updates on The Distinguished Dabbler, it seems as if the past three days have been filled with non-stop changes, including a rather extensive itinerary of the first few days in London (England). Interesting little anecdotes, although I highly doubt they would've found The Paragon Hotel at all if our directionally-challanged chronicler had been at the helm. *ducks in anticipation of approaching rubber chicken* (Check her most recent entry for proof!)

[3:21 PM EDT - Eine Kleine Magic Flute.]

I think FlyingS's correct with the name of the music, while I still don't know the name of the song, it's basically a synopsis of the Magic Flute to the tune of Eine Kleine Nachtmusik. I liked it. You have to hear it for yourself.

I'm nearly done making my slides. I'm a little lost to what I'm going to say during my talk, but hopefully things will fall in place when I get there. There's supposed to be some sort of practice talk later today, although I'm not looking forward to it. *shrug* Eh.

[6:44 PM EDT - Practice, practice, practice.]

Well, the practice talks are done and over with. I've got a number of typos that I have to fix. (One on a colour slide! *gasp*) But overall, things went well. I still have to pack, and I still have to figure out when I should go to sleep..

Anyway, gotta go eat!

[8:59 PM EDT - I'm.. so.. full..]

Was offered a free dinner today (BBQ) and how could I refuse? The food was good, and there was plenty of it to go around. I can't seem to move very much now, but that's alright, I should get some of these corrections made. Which probably means I should stop working on this. Ah well.

[9:26 PM EDT - Printed.. "Slippery when Wet"]

I printed out one of the photos from my west coast trip. It's the one where we were at the Columbia Ice Field. I should've used the original. The darned thing got blown up when it got printed so it looks all blurry. I might go back downstairs to sneak in another copy..

I've checked out MJO's most recent entry. Seems like work doesn't seem to be going so well. I don't know what Go has to do with swing, but as I mentioned before I won't be going back until next, next week. (But damn were they cute. All of them! At least the ones I saw.) Damn, I want to go back now.

BTW, I still have that Bon Jovi CD you gave me MJO.. *pops it into CD player*

We're planning on leaving at nine tomorrow morning, so I best be going. Dang, and I haven't started packing yet..
