[11:01 AM EDT - Early, but late.]

I actually came in on time today but I was busy doing other stuff so didn't have time to update until now. I've decided to try out something new for the calendar window thing. Yes, I've resorted to using pop-up windows, but I'm just testing it right now to see how annoying it is. If this is too much of a pain, I'll remove it. For now, let's see how this works..

Anyone interested in CTRL-A's mascot? Well, Ian's got a new picture up if you want to see. He's improved quite a bit over the years (check out the other gallery pictures).

[12:05 PM EDT - Lunchtime already?]

I'm not feeling hungry at all! Those two bagels are still sitting merrily in my stomach.. *pokes bellybutton*

Anyway, I had to make all journal links open a new window or the calendar window won't work properly. I couldn't tell the darned thing to change the top window. (Or parent window as the case may be.) Very annoying.

[1:08 PM EDT - How do you..]

I was about to finish that question until I found the answer! (Laz also had the right idea although I didn't quite understand the stuff in the link.) Yes! Let's see if this works.

[1:47 PM EDT - Much better..]

It's all fixed up. What do you guys think now?

[1:54 PM EDT - Dang nabit!]

Although I fixed my window targeting problems, I have brought back the original window opening problem (the blank screen). Ahh! I can't win!

[2:54 PM EDT - Okay.. feeling fine.]

Alright, it seems as if I fixed that problem. The only thing bothering me ATM is the variable nature of the tables. Time to fix them I guess..

I don't seem to have a problem with the .pl file with my versions of Netscrape (4.6) and Internet Exploder (5). I'm not sure what's going on with MJO's version..

Anyway, thanks for the suggestions, keep sending them in!

[3:40 PM EDT - Making space.]

I turned Laz's javascript URL (in the comments) into a real link so people can see what he was pointing to. It's actually quite a useful resource (although my lack of javascript savvy limits what I can actually get out of that site).

[4:27 PM EDT - Smelling rain.]

The weather outside looks a little foreboding. I've got a beach volleyball game today and I'm not sure if it'll be canceled or not. Anyway, while I was surfing around, I noticed that Laz and Tiffi both have updates. I also found out that Stripes changed his homepage about a month ago, and I didn't even notice. Crap! Anyhoo, it's a rant of Tigerish proportions so you may want to see what he wants to say.

While I'm on this topic, FlyingS has also changed his page as well. Geez, I really should be making my rounds more frequently. I'm missing out on all these updates!

[5:12 PM EDT - New .plan.]

KGL's got a new (well, more expanded) .plan up

Now all those simple things are simply too complicated for my life
How'd I get so faithful to my freedom?
A selfish kind of life
When all I ever wanted was the simple things
A simple kind of life

So there you have it.

[8:54 PM EDT - The sand was cold.]

Beach volleyball is usually played on a beach, in warm, humid weather right? At least we got the humidity right. The Village beach volleyball courts are a little lacking. Namely that they were rather small. We couldn't fit six people on the court without having the very distinct possibility of one person's limb interfering with another person's essential body part. Instead, we played with four per side. (We wanted five, but the other team wanted four.) This kind of sucked because our entire team (of nine) actually showed up today. Bumped into SDS as well who was his usual chipper self (if you couldn't guess, I was being sarcastic). The weather was cold, the sand was freezing, the rain came and went, and it was overcast. Pretty dreary for our eventual drubbing by our opponents. Eh. I needed the practice.

My feet feel like they're about to self-combust after being in the cold for so long. Eech. I should probably get going now. I think that's what I'll do.
