[10:44 PM EDT - Driving Conditions: Feels like summer.]

We have been getting some remarkably sunny and warm weather this week, and the trend will continue will into next week. I have been cooking inside my jacket unfortunately. There are zippers at various points on the jacket itself to improve ventilation, but these vents happen to coincide with the straps of my backpack, which basically force the vents closed.

Badminton was okay. I did not have any tough games, so I was able to go easy on my right wrist, left knee, right knee, and other aching joints.

On the way home, I saw a minivan booting down the right lane, so I decided to follow the car. I got behind the speeder and maintained a respectable distance. He did not seem to be going overly fast, but I guess the driver noticed me because the van picked up speed. A lot of speed. I normally have no problems with my backpack and badminton racquet that stuck out like a mast. I do not really notice them at the speeds I ride at. But when this car started to go, I really felt the drag from the racquet. My bag started to pull me off the bike so I had to hunker down to cut down on wind resistance.

When the driver started weaving through traffic like a lane splitter, I decided to let him go. I was not in the mood to slip between tractor trailers with a car space to spare at the speeds he was going at. (Let me just say that the speedometer was over a squared prime.) I was quite impressed how he was able to pull a couple of weaves before taking the off ramp. I wonder how many accidents this guy has left in his wake?

That's actually funny now that I think about it since I was yelled at for riding during that storm on Friday. Crazy rider.
