[8:17 AM EDT - Cool, cool summer.]

With the arrival of summer, temperatures have dropped a bit, which is good for me since I like to ride around in this nice weather. I have been trying to keep track of my expenses and I have come to the conclusion that I should start selling some of my stuff that I do not use.

I have also come to the conclusion that the non-gifts that I do have and not use are generally old, dilapidated, stinky, or just plain worthless. Hmm.

I think I will start posting on craigslist.

[1:21 PM EDT - Backed up.]

Wow. I noticed that traffic on the highway had not been moving. The trucks that I could see out our window were just sitting there. When we investigated a bit more, we found out that there was a serious accident on the highway just outside of our office. I went outside and saw the flashing lights from the bridge.

All of the lanes were closed, and traffic was backed up pretty far. Imagine if this happened during rush hour!

[Saturday, June 23, 2007: Just outside the office.]

After I noticed the traffic jam outside our office, I took a look at the COMPASS cameras to see what was going on.

[Can not see a thing.]

The closest camera did not show a whole lot of detail, except for the fact that there was nobody passing through in the express lanes.

[Clogged going east.]

While traffic was backed up.

[Clogged going west.]

In both directions.

[Westbound lanes backed up.]

For miles.

[It goes on and on..]

The express lanes were closed.

[The express lanes are closed..]

For hours.

[Directing traffic off the express lanes.]

Until just about rush hour.

By the time I got onto the highway, everything was flowing pretty normally. Then again, I was going in the opposite direction so I probably would have had a much better ride if people were still stopping to look.
