[4:32 PM EDT - Probably the motherboard.]

Well, I think there is something wrong with my motherboard. Unfortunately I do not have the tools here to figure out what is wrong with it.

However, I was able to get Debian installed on my new machine with little effort. Since the system was more powerful that either of my other backup systems, I was able to install the desktop environment (Gnome in this case) and I am slowly getting used to the interface.

I'll get the machine up and running for some stress tests, and if they go well, I will get rid of my other machines. Know anyone who might want a Thunderbird 900 system? (How about a Celeron 300a system?)

Anybody know how good these desks are? I have been looking for a glass desk for my computer stuff. Then again, I would have a constant worry of scratching the glass..
