[10:56 PM EDT - Cleaning up leftovers.]

I had nothing planned tonight so I was going to bake some baklava, only to remember that the filo pastry was still in the freezer! I guess I will be doing some baking in the morning.

[Saturday, June 23, 2007: A bunch of birds.]

I guess I did not mention anything, but this morning I noticed an explosion in the bird population as there were tons of Canada geese (and their droppings) around the building.

[A family of geese.]

I came across a family of geese on the walkway to the building. I had taken a great photo of the group but lost the picture because I screwed up the saving procedure.

[The chicks were thirsty.]

I decided to follow them until I got another good picture.

[Looking for another place to wander.]

The chicks were already fairly large, but I decided to keep my distance since the parents were fairly protective of their children.

[The grass is greener here.]

After a while, I gave up on getting the perfect shot and went to work.
