[1:38 AM EDT - Falling behind.]

Oh gee, I have been seriously falling behind on these entries. I still have to finish my entry on dirt biking, and now I have all the stuff from Saturday (which I probably will end up paraphrasing anyway), and soon I will have to write about the ride.

Right now I am looking at a very early wake up time tomorrow. *looks at clock* Today.

I am going to bed.

[11:56 PM EDT - Another ride for heart.]

I got up on time this morning but I had to get my helmet and gloves from the locker. Along the way, I bumped into one of the (cute) girls who lived at the condo. She also got off on the same floor. When I got back to the elevator, she was there going down again! (Actually, she kept the door open for me.)

The drive down to Exhibition Place was okay. I got caught up in a little bit of traffic and showed up late. I was not the last to appear however. Astrochicken and Derelict were already there. 2046-LM had been drinking the night before, and I ended up getting a message at four-thirty in the morning from him telling me that he was drunk and would be unable to attend this year's ride. So that left GWG.

Being late did not make all that much of a difference. The place was packed, as usual, but we made our way through the line and eventually got to the highway. The weather was actually pretty good for a ride. The temperature was a little warm, but the skies were overcast, and there was little wind. There was supposed to be scattered showers in the morning, but I only got spit on for a short part of the trip. Not much to say really. Derelict and I ended up leaving GWG and Astrochicken behind, and we were able to eat lunch by the time they met up with us.

The four of us looked for food, and I suggested Satay on the Road, since they had curry, but I did not realize that they were only open at four. By the time we got to the restaurant, I was in dire need to pee, so we headed to my place where we ordered some Indian curry instead. We hung around for a bit before they left, and I spent the rest of the night cleaning up the apartment.
