Since last week, the traffic levels on my way to and from work have dropped dramatically. My travel time has nearly been halved and I am feeling a lot safer on the roads. I guess school is out for summer?

So I took my parents out to dinner. Technically I did, my dad paid because they only took cash (I had inquired before about credit, which they take, but the deal that was going on at that time was cash only).
So it seems as if there is yet another great deal on motorcycle gear out there. Doh. I think I will need to curb my spending habits considering that I need to meet up with Windelynn early tomorrow to pay back that loan (and pick up my jackets).
I was also able to get rid of those boxes of fireworks that I had sitting in the closet for a couple of years. Actually, the fireworks themselves are over a decade old, and I really should use them before..
Actually, I do not know if fireworks do go bad with time, but we will be setting them off on the Canada day long weekend. While I was handing the boxes over to MB, he was asking me how old they were. I told him that I would be the ones setting them off.
