This is driving insurance we're talking about, I assume. How would they police it? Random blood tests? =D

They don't have to. If you get into an accident, the police will be checking you out. Heck, if you get admitted to hospital they may do a blood test for alcohol. Once the insurance company catches wind that alcohol was involved -- BOOM! Claim denied. It's sort of like how disability insurance works. --- HKL

Exactly. But I also did wonder about it. In any case, I heard that the reduction is minimal, so I am not kicking myself for not checking before, but since I do not drink it would have been a bonus.
