[12:10 AM EDT - Just a little warped.]

I was trying to toast some bread just now and spent the last fifteen minutes trying to figure out why my toaster oven was not working. I would press the start button and nothing would happen. It took me five minutes to figure out that the start button worked. It took me another five minutes to figure out that it was the door latch mechanism was not triggering properly. It took me a final five minutes of fiddling around to somehow manage to get the latch to trigger. All I did was take a pair of pliers to the bar that triggered the sensor, but I do not think I actually did anything to the bar (it was impossible to bend).

Well, it seems to work now, so that is all that matters.

[12:40 PM EDT - Images up.]

I posted some of the images that I had floating around on my camera. There is not much interesting to show however. I do have a party to attend to this afternoon so I want to clean up my place before I leave. Where did the morning go?

[1:45 PM EDT - Another double booking!]

Dang, another double booking! I just got invited by KT to a poker night. Add to that the birthday party, volleyball, paintball, and who knows what else I have turned down and this Saturday has been one of the most over booked for me. But broomball came first, so broomball it is!

[Tuesday, June 26, 2007: Broomball then hockey.]

The broomball summer party was being held today, so I left at my usual (late) time. Amazingly enough, there were only a few people who were already there by the time I arrived. It took another hour or so before he majority of the people showed up and we headed out for a game of softball.

Since we did not have enough people for two teams, we just played the version where people stayed at bat until they were out. When we got back to the house, I spent the next hour or so in the heated pool pretty much all by myself. It was so warm and comfy! No wonder why people have pools in their back yard!

After that, was dinner. The steaks were provided by the club, so I happily devoured my slab of rare meat and gorged on the salad and desserts. The timing was good, because by the time the party was winding down, I had to leave for hockey.

One thing that I found curious was how open the neighborhood was. There were people milling about all over the place, and everyone knew everyone else. My motorcycle seemed to garner a lot of attention, especially since the neighborhood itself was quite quiet.

I arrived to hockey a little late, but I played okay.
