With the weather turning wet and my late wake up, I decided not to go to KW for the mini golf game and dim sum. Instead I stayed home and finished a second campaign of Dark Crusade. While I was finishing the game, I got a call from my dad. He asked,
"Are you coming to the BBQ?"
BBQ? What BBQ?
Apparently there was some sort of BBQ that was taking place at KW's place. But I was not told about it. (Or I may have forgotten about it.) In any case, since I was in town, I decided to go.
On the way there, I ended up driving down a street and was at the head of a traffic column. So I was setting the pace, and that's when I saw the speed trap. I quickly released the gas and checked my rear view to see if any lights came on. Fortunately for me, my speed was not enough to wake the cops from their slumber, and I was able to continue unmolested.
Oh, I also dropped my phone at the party. It hit carpet, but it stopped working so now I have to send it in on Monday to get it fixed.
I also went to hockey tonight, but played so poorly. Bah, I need a drink.
