[3:17 PM EDT - A quick fix.]

I brought my car in to get the oil changed and to get the door lock checked. I wanted to bring the car in after work, but I was told that it would take some time to figure out what was wrong with the car, so I needed to bring it in during the day. So I took half of the day off so I could bring it in early.

I dropped off the car at the dealership and I'm hanging around my parent's place right now since I have badminton tonight. Of course they are out of the house so I have the whole house to myself. Unfortunately the air conditioning is off so it is rather uncomfortable, and the switch is upstairs, so I could not take the laptop into the basement where I could hibernate.

Hopefully the fix will be under warranty that should make it a lot cheaper for me. Let us see what else I can do before I give up and hide underground.

[3:38 PM EDT - Okay, that was quick.]

Alright, so I just got a call confirming that the car was fixed (under warranty) and is now ready for pickup. So I guess I will wait to get picked up?

[Wednesday, July 18, 2007: Getting old, I know.]

Last night during badminton, AF asked if I lived alone, and when I said that I did, she asked if I had a girlfriend. When I said that I did not, she asked me why I did not have one since:

"You are getting old you know."

Yeah, I know. I know. Strange though, it does not bother me that much.

[Thursday, July 19, 2007: I am a big kid now!]

I forgot to mention something that JST mentioned before badminton. He looked at me and said,

"You're just a big kid."

It was a statement. It was not even a question as I was expecting an "Aren't you?" afterwards. I had no response so I just shrugged and went on my merry way.
