[9:41 AM EDT - Breaking the lag.]

I've been having trouble going to sleep the past several nights. I blame it all on the jet lag. I wasn't able to get over it this weekend (since I kept going to bed late and getting up late) and I've always had trouble going to sleep even when I'm tired, so the best way for me to deal with it is to get up earlier and earlier in the morning.

It would've helped if I had set my alarm.

Fortunately I was able to get up this morning at a semi-respectable time. I made sure that the alarm was set this time so hopefully I don't end up being late tomorrow.

[9:53 AM EDT - Don't use if cloudy.]

I'm finishing off the last of the Bion Tears in that package I bought last month and came across a pamphlet with some information regarding the use and handling of the containers. One phrase that stuck out was,

"Do not use if cloudy."

Uhh..

<- looks at cloudy vial.

I hope that hasn't been hindering the healing process..

[10:04 AM EDT - Dream Sequence: Heli-schooling.]

I was trying to get to a class room numbered 288 but I hadn't been to this school before and the directions to the room were opaque. I ended up reading some brochure about the highway they were building over the river and the passenger bridge which included it's own post office and helipad.

When I realized that the heliport was where I needed to be, I headed down there to get a ticket. I picked up a mini-chopper (about the size of my laptop) and tried to use it to get myself airborne. Unfortunately, even at maximum speed, I couldn't even jump higher with it, so I gave up and went to get a ticket for the helicopter ferry.

While in line, I double checked the list of rooms that the helicopter was able to access and noticed that room 288 wasn't on the list. I quickly looked at a master list of rooms and found out that room 288 was on the east end, while the helicopter ferried people beyond the northern borders. Argh!

I asked the pilot if I could save the ticket for later, and he told me that I could use it up to tomorrow only, and only if there was space available. I inquired about transport to room 288 and he told me to talk to a man by the name of Garret.

So I went looking for Garret.

[12:43 PM EDT - I remember why I've been eating oatmeal.]

Since I haven't had time to make lunch for the past little while, I've ordered out for some Korean BBQ. I normally don't have a problem with it, but my teeth are abnormally loose right now, and it's so painful to chew through the meat! I should have stuck with something more liquid..

[1:32 PM EDT - Scene Survey: The Chinch.]

I checked FlyingS's blog and came across a survey he partook. I took the The Small Nervous Animal Test and found out that I was a Chinchilla:

You scored 27 nervousness!

You really should be more nervous. People want to make coats out of you, you know.

My test tracked 2 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender:

You scored higher than 40% on nervousness

You scored higher than 43% on smallness

Oh joy.

Derelict passed along a Quake Flash thing that I can't see right now, so I'll post it here for later consumption.

[Wednesday, April 12, 2006: Better on an empty stomach.]

I didn't get to eat before I went to play broomball tonight and I haven't had a better game this year! I guess running around on a full stomach isn't good for you huh?

I also found out that it was the second last game of the season, so we'll be going out for drinks after the next game. Hopefully I'll remember that.
