Ah, I do enjoy warm sunny days. The scenery definitely improves around the condo. *wiggles eyebrows*
But seriously, I went to have my braces tightened this morning. They were running a little late because of all of these darned kids! Actually, the one girl who had an appointment after me was really cute. (No she was not a kid.)
So back to the braces. Apparently the teeth in the back are finally starting to move, but I guess the teeth are enough out of alignment that the plastic O-rings didn't have enough strength to keep the wire in place, so for three of the brackets, she took some metal wire and used it instead to keep the archwire in place. Since my teeth were a little loose, this was not a very pleasant experience.
My eyes have been fairly dry of late, so I've been using more of those eye drops than usual. Unfortunately, because of the nice weather we're having, I decided to take my jean jacket instead of my leather one, and I had left the eye drops in the leather jacket..
I should be able to make it though if I take it easy..

Well, I got my insurance.. and it's cheaper than the quote I got last year! Who would have thought that?
Anyway, I think I've got most of the pieces ready for picking up the bike, except that I haven't gotten my new Visa card yet..

Pokey had organized some sort of disc throwing session with a bunch of people near MasterStorm's place. I had badminton scheduled for tonight and I wanted to meet someone too, but I was goaded into coming out for a while, so I came out for a while. Let's just say that I haven't thrown the disc for a long time and it really shows. My right wrist was also acting up, so I'm worried about damaging it further this year.
I went to badminton afterwards, and the people I wanted to talk to weren't there. *shakes fist*
Ah well, at least I got a few good games in.
