I've been trying to get up early to get rid of this jet lag but I ended up getting out of bed around one. (So no, I wasn't doing all that well.)
I did get around to doing some laundry and cleaning up some stuff on my computers before I got called down for dinner with girl, Dangerman, Laz, and Tenshi at some restaurant.. downtown. The food was okay.
I had forgotten about that party at Laz's workplace since I was originally going to be out of the country this weekend, so I tagged along for that after dinner.
We had split up since there wasn't enough space in the car, and our group wasn't able to get into the building so we headed to the Starbucks down the street (it was cold outside). I had gone into the washroom for a bit and when I came out, there was some sort of commotion going on. This older lady was holding on to some girl's wrist, claiming that she had taken her credit card. The police were called, the significant others stepped in, and video evidence was going to be shown..
But then they left after standing around for ten minutes or so. I actually had no idea what was going on, but it all ended peacefully before the police arrived so I'm assuming that it was all good?
We didn't stay at the party for very long. Dangerman wasn't feeling good, and I wasn't actually interested in going to a party, so we left fairly early.
