Hmm, ever since I mentioned that time a car jumped the line by driving down the left turn lane at the main intersection near my work, I've noticed more and more cars doing it. In fact, this morning even though the car had and advance green light to turn left, the guy stopped the car at the intersection (much to the irritation to the car behind him) and waited until the full green light came on and burned in front of the truck that was ahead of me.
I can see an accident waiting to happen if this keeps up..

My eyes are tired for some reason, and I'm having trouble looking at the computer screen. I haven't been getting a lot of sleep in the past couple of days, so the sleep deprivation may be the cause.
My sore eyes are slowly giving me a headache as well, so I may need to take more breaks from the screen. A lot more staring into space while I'm blindly typing away..

We've got a new guy working in the company. He's been doing pretty good so far, but hasn't gotten used to Derelict's humor yet. So when he was commenting about his girl friend's sore throat and how she must have gotten it from me (through him), Derelict used a lot of willpower so that he wouldn't launch into a barrage of rude jokes.
One of them would have been,
"Yeah, it's his fault that she's got sore knees too."
Rude, rude boy.

Well, I've finally gotten around to doing three things that I've been meaning to do for the past five or so years: get braces, get laser eye surgery, and buy a motorcycle.
Although I ended up burning through a lot of money in a short period of time, I think it's worth it. Getting it too late in my life will limit the amount of enjoyment I'll get from a couple of these changes, and doing it all at once allows me to recoup a fair chunk of change from some medical tax refunds.
I'm already getting used to living without glasses, and the braces don't bother me as much as they did when they were first put on. The motorcycle will take some time to mature though, as I'm finding myself very busy for the next month or so.
All in all, it's been a very busy couple of months for me. I'll probably be trying to take it easy this summer..
