[9:43 AM EST - It happens to me all the time..]

Maybe I should blame gravity. Hrumph. Anyway, I'm up and about as usual, waiting for my program to finish. It should be able to send it off soon! Yay! (I think I've said that before actually.)

[QYV] (can I call you that? or do you prefer QYV?),

I did a Yahoo search on Woburn Collegiate (feeling nostalgic i guess) and your website came up.

I also felt I should write a comment. I would feel guilty that I visited your site but didn't say hi. (I read that note somewhere about the guestbook, and how you had 788,234 visitors but 12 entries).

How is it going otherwise?

I hear you're working in TO now. At some computer place? (that's what OMok said) What do you do there?

(BTW, I'm trying to see how long I can make this message, and how it would look on your comments section. I'm not trying to crash your page, so if I do, I apologize. Just testing it out.)

(BTW - Part II - I like this interactive journal idea you call the PIT. Did you create this yourself? It's pretty cool. Are you interested in doing websites? If so, I have a job for you....)

(Oh it pays too. I don't know how much, but its an actual contract job, not something i made up)

(I also found OMok's website. I think he is in TO as well. All we need is one more person, and that means we can play MJ!

Hey, have you heard from Mahesh? It looked like you completely dissed him. I think he left two comments, but no reply from you. I think he's a doctor now. Isn't that scary? <grin>

(no offense Mahesh. I was just kidding. Hey, if you read this, how is it going?)

(yes i actually went through every single entry of your journal and read *every* single comment)

Do you still play MAGIC?

Ok i'm tired - no more ideas

Hey it looks fine!

Oh, have you heard from Mike Camarda any time recently?

I just saw one of his sayings up on your site.

I hear that he has disappeared and has resurfaced under a new name. Rumour has it that he refuses to acknowledge the name Mike, as well as anyone who used to know him as well.

Re: Mike Carmarda...

Although he did get in touch with me when he was in Vancouver for work in April 1998. (Wow, that was almost three years ago!) He actually brought my phone number and called me while he was here. We climbed a mountain and then had dinner at a decent Greek restaurant overlooking Robson Street.

He was working for IBM at the time and was doing something downtown here.

Ha! Trying to even it out huh?

Good thing I caught it in time. Now, if anything, I going to have to write a full essay to fix that.

Hey [QYV], do you have [K-Boy]'s website? I think it is at www.planetKern.com. I could be wrong, but it also has links to some Woburn folk.

I suppose you know [Dee] got married.

Didja know that there are a few [QYV]'s out on the WorldWideWeb? I think they have middle names mixed in there, but [QYV]s they are. (Was that correct grammar? Who knows.)
Perhaps you should e-mail them. Find out if they are like you.

I wonder if anyone else is here from Woburn. Hello Wildcats. (Is that the motto?) I wonder if Woburnites know that the school has turned into a gangland. I saw a gun deal once in the lobby, while I was waiting for my driving test. A couple of years after we graduated, I hear the building behind was the site for many a drug raid. And some of the Barenaked Ladies came from there.

I wonder if anyone from Woburn is also feeling nostalgic. (To those not from Woburn, I'm sorry if I am boring you with Woburn stories.) BTW, nice to meet you all.

Maybe I don't want to get back to work. [QYV], you seem like you are enjoying what you are doing. Congrats. That is very important. Everyone, *don't* get caught in life doing something you hate. Its an important lesson. Unless of course, you make lots of money and can retire early. Then you can hate your work, because soon you won't have to do it anymore. That's what I hope to do.

[QYV], do you mind if I tell everyone I know from Woburn that you are here? Maybe we will use this forum to talk about you and your Woburn days. <grin> (Hi Andre.)

Seriously, we should have a massive game of Super-Melee MJ. Or maybe just regular MJ.

Hey everyone, whadya know? I have a journal too.

(OK, I'll stop now.)

Thanks for the site [QYV]. It really is amazing. Well designed and an *excellent* idea. Perfect for anyone seeking out nostalgia.

Wow, doesn't this QYV guy (or is it [QYV]?) have anything to do other than update his webpage all day? Do we really want more than one QYV in the world?

Shrove Tuesday is when you're supposed to fatten up (fat Tuesday, mardi gras) so you can fast for lent.

There was some hefty earth movements this morning. Around 11am, the west coast shook for about a minute. In Vancouver, buildings swayed and boxes toppled off shelves. No real harm done and no damage that I've been able to see downtown. To bad I lost the Richter pool by only guessing 5.2.

Andre: [QYV] has some sort of replacer function that replaces "[QYV]" with "QYV". That's why the messages have no mention of [QYV].

QYV: Seriusly, can I still call you [QYV]? I still call Jacob Lee by his *real* name, SitV. BTW, his website is www.jacoblee.org

Darn! He's caught my replacer-avoidance trick!

Quite a number of questions to answer I must say. Now, where shall I begin? I generally try not to include real names on this site (except for a few). I just did a quick search and noticed that you were doing a page for the UofT Law guys. I assume that's the contract you were talking about? Mahesh's comment was actually transplanted from the guestbook, which would explain why I didn't reply to them. There are very few Woburnites who visit this site. It matters to me not if you tell people about it. That's about it.

Do you know how many Alex Chans there are? Good lord! *gives up on web search*

He's replacing by hand. If you look at this message right when I put it up, it says
[QYV], and not QYV.

Bah!

Here's another try... Jenning.

There's a replacer function that I never discovered? Now this I gotta try... [QYV]! ...Impressive.

This makes me wonder why you Woburnites don't have a reunion and take this chat offline.

Does that real name rule extend to your name?

I forget all the questions I asked. Where are you working now and what are you doing?

I am doing the website for UofT Law. I had no idea it would show up on a search! Wow! I've been slowly deleting my name from each of the pages. It's a real pain. Although I am doing it because once someone else starts to do it, then they won't have to change every single one of the pages. (Thanks SitV!)

How have you been? (Stupid question, since I'm reading your journal). How long has it been? Too long. You up for some MJ?

Who from Woburn have you kept in touch with?

Bah!

BTW, your page is slightly broken... My name shows as Andr&QYV#233; at the top.

"He's replacing by hand" == he's replacing the ones that the automated thing doesn't catch.

Since Saucy has been bugging me to write something here, here goes...

QYV, let's play MJ! I am unemployed, so I have all the time in the world! :-)

Otto out!
