[10:00 PM EDT - Slow connection.]

I'm back! The wedding was pretty good and I have a number of things to say, although I don't have time for it right now. One thing that interested me was when girl told me over dinner how KH said that he couldn't figure out what made me keep going (or something like that) and she asked if I liked having people trying to figure me out. After thinking about that for the past hour, I think I like to see what people think and then compare with my notes. Heck, I have no idea why I still keep going either!

Dang this connection is slow, and it's a cable modem! I've been so spoiled with my T1 connection..

*thinks* Hmm, since the washroom is being aired out right now, I think I can go over some of the things that happened today. We had to get up early (despite going to bed late - around three-thirty in the morning) because we had to get checked out of the hotel. Boy were we not happy campers this morning.

Once we had left the hotel, we headed off to the bride's parent's place. Apparently, the wedding party rented out a PT Cruiser to check it out. I was first exposed to it by weirDo who mentioned that he was interested in one until he found out that it was based on a Neon chassis. I had not seen one myself until we passed by one in the parking lot later that day. Anyway, today I was able to get a ride in one (couldn't test drive it unfortunately) and I must say that it was okay. It is indeed underpowered, but I like the fact that nearly all of the seats can be removed, and all these little things they added for functionality (like the table thing). Well designed. The body was a little retro, and it seemed pretty sturdy. The only complaint would be that everything was made out of plastic. Although this makes the removable objects (seats, table thing) easy to move, I always have to wonder about the durability. I guess the only real way to test that out is to own one of these bad boys for a year or so. Which comes up to my other negative. The price. It's way too expensive for what you get, so I don't think I'll be getting one anytime soon (if at all).

There was also a cat at the house. Her name was Winnie, and she was very curious. She sniffed everything that was new, including my sandals. My sandals have these velcro straps you see, and this curious feline started rubbing herself against my sandals (I guess because she was itchy?). Anyhoo, she somehow got on, then in, then back onto the sandals before she decided to part. Unfortunately, she couldn't. Her fur had become quite attached to my velcro strap. She tugged, and pulled, and couldn't get herself free. It wasn't until I bent down and pulled her off of my strap before she was able to escape. I'll never understand cats.

We went to a BBQ at the groom's parent's house for lunch (although it wasn't a BBQ, but they called it a BBQ.. I dunno, it was a little confusing, but since it was free food..). There we were entertained by the groom's dad and shown his wardrobe (well, only his Tilley hat and Tilley coat). Quite fashionable.

<- thinks of getting one.

One more thing before I leave this entry. One of the girls who showed up at the wedding (and there were lots of them), was one of the bride's cousins. Anyway, she looks a lot like Madelaine, although there are distinct differences. Still, it got me thinking about how Madelaine's doing right now..

Anyway, I'll talk about the wedding some other time. It's getting late and I didn't get much sleep tonight. But if you want stuff to read, Laz, KGL, Jax (and her "fat free" yogurt), and Tiffi all have stuff up. Actually, Tiffi has two, and although I did laugh at her "sneezing all over Shawn/Sean's notes" incident I though that the falling down and getting a concusion while having strep throat was a bit.. er.. scary? It's never good to be brought to the hospital, and even worse if you have to stay overnight. I'm glad she's okay though (at least from I have read).

Okay, off to bed.

Yeah, Tilley stuff lasts forever. Back when I wanted a photographers vest, I looked at my father's tilley vest. Then I asked how much it was, and decided I didn't want one that much... Yeek!

I didn't actually ask how much those Tilley vestments cost, although I doubt I could justify buying any Tilley stuff anyway.. *looks at deflated wallet*
