[11:19 AM EDT - Halfway.]

It's another hot and humid day up here. I don't know why the heck I'm wearing black jeans though. Oh yeah! It's because I have to do laundry! *sneeze* Guh.. it's also that time of the year when all the ragweed in the area decides to procreate. Yessir, it's ragweed season and all of us ragweed sufferers will be hibernating in our air conditioned offices hoping that the filtering system can remove most of the unwanted pollen. Sucky.

[11:24 AM EDT - Not enough players.]

Sucky. It seems as if there aren't enough players from Toronto to form a mixed team for the world broomball championships. How sucky is that? (The answer is "really" for those who don't understand rhetorical questions.) Anyway, I was told that apparently some other teams need people so I might still go down (I think we were guaranteed to be able to join a team if we went down there, but we'll see).

[2:13 PM EDT - Pretty smile.]

I can't believe it. I'm a sucker for a cute smile. We went to Jose's for lunch (as we usually do) and we got this waitress who I didn't recognize (although weirDo thought she'd been working there for a while). Anyway, having not served us before (and not seeing our tips), she look way too chipper to be normal and always flashed this bright smile when she served us. She even defended me when people were complaining on how slow I was eating (aw, ain't that sweet?). So in the end, I gave her a big tip. I don't know what came over me. Okay, okay, I normally give a pretty normal tip (on a three dollar meal, fifty cents is plenty), but for some reason, I had some sort of compulsion to give more money..

*left hand starts reaching for wallet*

*right hand swats it away*

But that's not the only time I've been caught by a pretty smile. There's a certain girl who (sometimes) sat next to me in class, and after she smiled the first time she talked to me, I tried every day to make her smile at least once. I just loved seeing that grin. *reminisces*

Oh, and there were others. Many others. I think people should smile more often. It can make such a difference to the people around you, and really does help when people are down. I remember when I was walking around downtown around U of T a couple of years ago, I came across this lady who seemed to be frowning so I smiled, and she looked a little surprised before smiling back. (To reiterate) I think people should smile more often.

[6:00 PM EDT - Dark haze.]

There's a Diablo 2 fest going on tonight and I should head home so I can grab some milk and get some munchies before spending god-knows-how-many hours in front of my cathode ray tube. There's also a rather dark cloud mass heading this way from the west. I can't smell rain yet, but it can't be far. But will I go home? Oh no, I just HAD to go and fire up Final Fantasy VIII again.. Grr.. Oh well, habits are hard to break ya kno?

[11:29 PM EDT - It's finished!]

I've finally finished Final Fantasy VIII. Agh.. what a pain. I did finally get Eden, I also got the Toonbery King, and all of the GF's except for Doomtrain. I took out all of the bosses in the castle, and took out the final boss without any GF's. (Actually, I hadn't used GF's at all in the last half of the game.)

The final FMV (full motion video) ending sequence was very, very long. It neatly wraps up the story (much better than Final Fantasy VII) and for those of you who actually sat and watched the credits, I liked how they added in a little "video camera" clip that seemed awfully realistic, although Japanesey. All in all, it was a good game. Long, but fun to play. I guess it's time for me to pack it up and get it off my system (finally!). I never did beat Omega Weapon. Hrumph. I'll let HKL have the honours..

Right now I should go and get some milk. It's stopped raining, but I can't see any stars outside so the skies may still open up on me. The guys should be playing Diablo 2 now. I think I'll just go home and crash.

Oh yeah, it seems as if Laz is the only one who's got an update ATM. Go and check out what he's doing! (Or what he's not doing as the case may be.) *achoo*
