[10:58 AM EDT - Inline.]

I bladed to school today. That was a mistake. My (injured) foot felt like it was in a vice the entire way to the school and taking it out afterward was a chore. I don't think I'll be doing that again for a while, I guess I'm out for the rest of the season (what's left of it).

[11:48 AM EDT - Some pictures.]

Here's the link to some pictures from last week's wedding. I'll go check them out later.

[2:03 PM EDT - Fun in the sun.]

I came back from throwing the disc around just a little while ago. Apparently it's student life 101 today, and the campus was chock full of prospective students and their parents, wandering around aimlessly. In the middle of it all were the three of us, throwing the disc around while avoiding the lawn mower. (I'm glad I'm not allergic to grass.)

Oh yeah, I'm also wearing shoes and socks today. This is the first time I put on a shoe in more than a month, and.. it's not so bad. At least I don't have to put my foot into a vice like grip when I tie up my laces. The padding is also sufficient to make walking a little easier than in sandals, and although it gets quite warm in there (especially after hopping around in the hot and humid weather chasing discs) at least I won't be getting the nice impressions I usually get from my sandal straps.

I got a suggestion from a certain crispy critter that I should put a navigational bar at the bottom of the journal entry. I used to do that when I first wrote up the journal script, but I got rid of it when I added the calendar. After I removed the calendar, I never put it back. Hmm.. I guess with all of these really long entries, it's annoying to have to go back to the top of the page to go to the previous entry, so I added a navigational bar at the bottom. Netscape users may have problems seeing it as the browser tends to FUBAR some of the text because of it's not-so-perfect handling of style sheets, but I think it should be alright. I may get around to changing that. (Like putting extra tags around them.. although silly.)

Oh yeah, apparently I'm not the only one hearing noises at night. Werdna seems to think there's something living on our roof or something. It could be a racoon, but I was thinking that they might be squirrels. In any case, as long as they don't chew a hole through the roof over my head, I don't have too much of a problem with them..

(*bangs on ceiling* *thud* *thud* "Keep it quiet up there! Some of us are trying to sleep!" *mutters* "Darned - which means damned - rodents!")

I also got around to checking out those wedding pictures. Aw.. ain't that sweet? Anyway, I think I was lucky enough not to be the subject of any of the pictures, except that I got caught in the background of one of them. Doh! I do try..

The interesting thing about that is the picture of DeeL with the axe. I remember how he used [DeeL] the axe as a handle when we were short(er).

[5:18 PM EDT - Cat bonfire.]

Don't let the title mislead you, when I was walking home late a couple of nights ago, I passed by a street near my house. Down a couple of houses, I could hear the low throbbing of dance music being played very loudly (it was already way past one in the morning) but what caught my eye was the flickering orange light that some of the revelers were dancing in. Wait.. flickering.. orange? These guys had a moderately sized bonfire in their driveway! I couldn't get a clear view of the party due to all of the cars parked around them, but it sure gave me a laugh. (Isn't it like.. illegal?)

A little distance further on, I saw a couple of cats that were.. I'm not sure what they were doing, but I guess I (and the traffic that came suddenly) interrupted their little tryst. Eh. I couldn't tell if either one was our cat-for-the-day, but I didn't think so, they looked a little larger than our overly friendly feline.

Hmm. I didn't exactly have a large lunch today, and I missed out on dinner last night (although the huge brunch made up for it). I might head home sooner than I usually do, but we'll see what else I can finish down here..

But I forgot to draw Eden! Gah! *turns off computer*

Stupid game. I should get going home now. I spent way too long playing this game.. *stretches*
