[11:19 AM EDT - Just in.]

I just got in so I can't say much. I'm gonna check out some things before posting some stuff I forgot.

[11:38 AM EDT - IP banning.]

Just had to do a little reading up on IP banning. All done now! So, how are you folks doing? Well, I just remembered two things from last weekend which I should jot down. One is.. well, has anyone heard of the half plus seven rule? I've never heard of this before, but it's apparently some unwritten rule that you can't go out with anyone who's less than half your age plus seven. That would mean that I can't go out with anyone younger than.. nineteen and a half!

The discussion (which was taking place on the van) started when the guys were ogling at some girls on the street (especially that girl on blades who.. er.. somehow managed to keep up with us.. =). A couple of the guys said that there should be exceptions if the girl is extra "hot". Then there was more discussion about.. well, I don't think I'll go into the details. Yet.

The other thing that I remembered was when I was with Stonaday. We were walking down the street when we passed by a barbershop. It caught my attention because the name was the "Terminal Barbershop". What the hey? Isn't that.. (at which point Stonaday told me that the name of DeeL's barbershop quartet was named after that barbershop.) Kewl, I see. A little piece of history.

Ah, the sun's out. I should get back to work (or e-mail, I seem to be getting a flood at this point in time).

[3:25 PM EDT - A nice day after all.]

Despite the rather chilly and overcast conditions of this morning, the weather has become quite nice actually. It's too bad I can't move much or I would've taken more advantage of the weather. I've been playing around with some tags so some things might be broken. Just tell me if something's amiss and I'll try to patch it up.

[4:29 PM EDT - New .plan.]

After quite a .plan drought, Jax has put up a new .plan!

I live for long weekends.

Long weekends huh? *blink* *looks at watch* Oh yeah! This weekend is a long weekend! I had forgotten about that. Now what will I be doing this weekend? Oh yeah, attend a wedding. Free food here we come!

[4:53 PM EDT - Half-Life goes Hollywood?]

I found this little tidbit from Dark Horizons interesting (it's down in the middle somewhere). Seems like there's a rumour that a Half-Life movie is in the works. Excellent. I first heard this first from the ShackNews.

[8:55 PM EDT - Sunset.]

I should head home now. I want to see if I can make it home while they're still light out. *looks outside* My chances are getting pretty slim..

Anyway, Laz has an update on his exploits into searching for the IP logging javascript. Personally, I'd rather stick with perl, but it's interesting to see what javascript can do (especially some of those nasty ones! *wince*). Oh yeah, he (well, we) went on this quest to find a way to block an IP address from accessing a site after KGL (who also has an update BTW) asked us about it. My solution was to use htaccess after I found out that it could do more than just password protection.. (very powerful little tool it is..)

Yes, anyway, I should head out now. The red sky is turning deep blue, and twilight is setting in..
