[1:24 PM EDT - Operation Condor.]

Just came out from a presentation on the Condor Project. It's an interesting idea, but there are quite a number of limitations. It's free though. We here are a little skeptical about the usefulness of this application ATM, at least the way it's implemented currently.

[1:47 PM EDT - Multi-Diablo.]

Went out shopping yesterday for a bit, and afterward, I played a fair bit of multiplayer Diablo 2 with a couple of weirDo's friends. They had just made it to Hell and wanted help in finishing the game. weirDo and I had finished the game already so we agreed to join in. I think I was way too powerful though. Nothing could really touch me, and finishing the final act was pretty easy. Ah well. I really should check out Battle.net at some point in time.

As a side note, Softart Microsystems has just been acquired by Research in Motion.

[1:56 PM EDT - Jax prose.]

Jax has gotten quite into the storytelling mood over that past couple of weeks. It's like Jax's entire life is one big story or something. Well, it is (I guess), but it's quite an interesting read when all of those.. ah! I can't remember the word! Ah well, me English is ungood. Anyway, the story about the storm from Sunday was pretty dramaturgic!

[2:53 PM EDT - Oh yeah.]

Apparently BSB came by the office during my tenure at home. It's too bad, I would've liked to have seen what the heck he was up to and if he had one that bridge tournament yet.

I've also been sorta catching up with the various updates of people who actually update their pages. Only Laz, Jax, and KGL have been truly prolific, although MJO and Tiffi both have been putting entries up while Sparky's been away for a while..

Ah! Too much going on! *tugs at hair* (as in the group for CJF's sake.)

[8:29 PM EDT - Just like old times.]

Seems like I'm staying late at school again. The difference is that it'll take me four times as long to make it back home than I normally do. This means that I should leave earlier than I normally do so I don't end up starving halfway back.

Eh. *shrug*

I installed Diablo 2 on my computer here at school, and it's way too slow. I don't have enough memory it seems, as the game is continously caching. I don't think I'll be playing at school, which means that internet play is unlikely. This bodes well for me and my productivity. Now all I have to do is to kick the single player habit..

I've started making minor changes to my scripts here and there. It's high time for me to clean up some of these horribly written snippets of code. I should also get back to responding to e-mail and finishing up that last entry that I'm still working on. *types away feverishly*

Oh yeah, I've noticed that the first thing that people generally say when they first see me now (if they haven't seen me in a while) is,

"What happened to you?"

It never fails. Then I have to recall my story about pushing the velobus, and this, and that. Over time, I've slowly gotten fed up with telling the whole story, and I just say that I was pushing this vehicle from the one side, it started going downhill, and my foot got caught in front of the rear tire. Simple, precise, and very quick. It usually does the trick.

The full story is much more interesting though. (IMNSHO)

[9:50 PM EDT - Yay! Time to go.]

I finally finished the second half of the missing entry although I feel like I left out some things. Oh well, maybe I'll find out tomorrow. Right now, I'm hungry, tired, and just want to go home (at a respectable time).
