[12:44 PM EDT - A little late.]

Okay, maybe I'm more than just a little late. I had to do laundry this morning because I forgot to do it last night. Anyway, I should see what's going on in the world first..

[2:21 PM EDT - What the..]

There's something that looks funny in my script, so I'm going to do a bit of debugging. This might screw up the page a bit, but hopefully everything will work out.

[2:33 PM EDT - Oh yeah..]

If something goes wrong, and it seems to persist, then someone should say something..

[3:40 PM EDT - Nothing broken yet.]

At least I haven't noticed anything broken yet. I'm going to keep working at it over the next little while. I stayed up a little while after our Diablo 2 thing last night. I've still got some stuff to pack and quite a bit of stuff to move. I'm not quite sure how I'm going to stuff all this junk back into my room in Toronto, but..

*looks at the boxes of books and stuff*

Well, maybe I can leave them in boxes for a while..

[3:46 PM EDT - While it still works..]

I heard a rumour from ArsTechnica that Creative Labs is interested in buying out (the bankrupt) Aureal. Whoa. If they do get Aureal, I wonder what's going to happen with their soundcards..

There's a more interesting story for the less geeky people out there (which I first saw on the ShackNews). Apparently, The Sunday Times is reporting that there was a study to determine of driving was more dangerous under the influences of cannabis. (Gee, I wonder how they got volunteers?) Apparently, the outlook is good for weed smoking drivers..

Oh yeah, and some kid's parents got five grand for naming their kid after a website. *blink* Could be worse I guess.

One more thing from the ShackNews. I didn't notice this myself, but v1.03 of Diablo 2 changes some of the skills in the game. Apparently the Barbarian and Necromancer both got shafted. Here's a link about it all.

[4:40 PM EDT - It's up to the reader.]

Well, after seeing Laz's rather vocal vote against the comment window closing, I've removed that script. I'm going to leave it up to the reader to be able to read the fact that the comment is for such-and-such a date, because idiot-proofing just makes idiots out of all of us. (Unless there's a better suggestion of course.)

[5:57 PM EDT - The decision's been made.]

I think I will be going to the World broomball championships this year. I don't have anything planned at that time (the wedding is two weeks beforehand and the CTRL-A show should be the week before), and how many chances will I have at this? Anyway.. wedding? Oh yeah, I've been invited to another wedding this year! (Adds name to invite list.) That's what? Three now? There's even a website up, but it's currently down, so I'm not going to link it. Man, and there may be another wedding in February.. holy geez, this is definitely the time for weddings.

Of course, this is all a one shot deal here (hopefully). It won't be as surprising to see this many weddings next year and within three or four years, the number should start decreasing. Once I'm past thirty, I don't expect to see too many people heading to the alter, but there's always a few late stragglers. What is the average age for marriage anyway? I've been told it many times before but I keep forgetting about it.

[8:41 PM EDT - Partials.]

Finally! I got the partial word search (actually, the full word search) in my search engine to work. I have an idea why it didn't work in the first place and I'm kicking myself for not noticing it earlier (especially after all of the running around I did to get it to work). Man.. I can't believe I finally got it to work.

In any case, I can now concentrate on cleaning up the script a bit and to see if I can improve on the speed. I've also made the script highlight search words in the comments as well. Red really seems to stick out when placed in the sea of grey.

[10:08 PM EDT - Heading out.]

I'm going to get going now. I need another box to haul off the rest of my textbooks and file folders. Geez, I've got way more junk at the office than I had anticipated. This is going to be tough to move out. *checks the weight of one of the boxes*

Anyway, I'll be back tomorrow.
