[11:16 AM EDT - Don't let the time fool you.]

I was actually in at a semi-respectable time this morning, except I had a little talk with my boss to see what I had to do for my last week of work here. I've got some things lined up to do, but the most important of which is to leave little notes here and there so that anyone trying to sift through my stuff won't get too lost. That's going to be tough.

I'm going to go and try to find if I can recover any of my MP3s today, but my hopes aren't that high. There are a few songs that I still haven't found yet which I know I should try to get before I format the drive. Gah, it took over an hour to search the drive last time, and the program will only let me recover five files a shot! *counts number of MP3s* This is going to take some time..

[2:32 PM EDT - Bake apple pie.]

girl and I were having a discussion about some pie my dad had when we went to visit Newfoundland. Er, I guess I won't go over the story here, but I had thought that he had ordered "big apple" pie, while girl thought he had ordered "bake apple" pie. After a bit of discussion, she went off and found this link which proved me wrong. Ah well.

[6:42 PM EDT - Productive as ever (not).]

I discovered that one of my fitting routines was having problems with the last parameter in the sequence being smaller than it's uncertainty. It's pretty difficult to remove parameters, but I think I've found a way..

In any case, I've been playing around with Win2k and I must say that I haven't had any problems with it yet. Despite the look, it's definitely different than Win9x and it'll take some time to get used to. I still have to install some software, but I'm going to wait until I try recovering some of those files that I lost before I continue forward. I might be able to get my hands on a parallel port Zip drive tomorrow so I know what I'll be doing tomorrow night.

I was having some discussions with weirDo about setting up a web server and the difficulty with dynamic DNS. Argh! I think The PIT will be staying here for a little longer than I had anticipated (at least it'll be more stable - we'll see).

I've been checking out pages, and it seems as if both Laz and KGL have quite a number of weddings to go to (yeah, look who's talking). Speaking of which, I have to finish that entry..

[8:28 PM EDT - Reduce.]

I've been cutting down on some of the stuff being shown on the journal pages. I think I'll cut out some of the more superfluous items like the date and counter (or at least convert it to text). I'm also probably going to jiggle around with the layout a bit, but not all too much. Hopefully this won't change too much..

[9:47 PM EDT - Reuse.]

Hmm, I think I'll be moving some things around a bit but I'm going to try something with the time script.

[10:04 PM EDT - Recycle.]

Wow! T's alive! And I thought that I was the only one to sit on e-mail.. *looks at overflowing inbox* Hmm, I think I should start responding to some of these messages. *looks at time* Eh, maybe tomorrow, it's only a day away.

I think I'm going to find a differerent way of displaying the counter. I might just go with a straight text counter, but I'll have to think about it. In any case, I should go home and eat. Tomorrow, I've got a lot of e-mail to respond to, and some files to recover. Guh, I ain't looking forward to that.
