[9:57 AM EDT - Decisions..]

I have yet to decide whether or not I'll be going to the CTRL-A show today and/or tomorrow. Dang nabbit! I do have a question for anyone who might know. Is there an easy way to determine the time zone of a machine by it's IP address? Inquiring mind wants to know.

Oh yeah, Laz has a little dream that he's posted as well as some pictures of his new cell phone (everyone's got one!). Jax also has an update up (or two actually).

[1:52 PM EDT - Outcome.]

It seems as if I won't be going to Waterloo today. I might not even get in tomorrow! Of course, I STILL haven't gotten word from that girl yet, so I have no stinking idea what's going on, but oh well, this just gives me more time to figure out this web server thing (and other sundry).

[5:12 PM EDT - Tepee.]

I just came back from an unfruitful trip to Ikea. My mom wanted to get a TV cabinet for the house, and so I called in to see if there was any in stock. (I had called a couple of weeks ago, and was told that they'd be in by the 10th.) This time, I asked if there were any TV cabinets, I was told that there were thirteen in stock. Goody! I headed down to the closest store (which I called, if you were wondering if I called the wrong branch) and proceeded to look around for the TV cabinet.

After several minutes of wandering around the showroom and warehouse, I wandered up to one of the terminals and asked one of the employees if they could tell me where the TV cabinets were located. (Mine in particular.) After sifting through the list, he told me that there were none in stock. *blink* What? I flipped through the catalog to make sure we were talking about the same thing here and, sure enough, the TV cabinet that I wanted was the same as the one that was sold out. Peeking at the list, I noticed that there was a TP thing also listed under the same name. Looking over at another column, I saw that there were thirteen of them in stick. Son of a..

I asked the guy how long I'd have to wait for new stock to arrive, and he told me that the item's actually on back order, so they don't expect any stock for four to six weeks. Four to six weeks? Oi. I could probably build one in that time! (Probably, but I won't.) Dejected, I braved the afternoon rushhour traffic to make it back home.

Speaking of traffic. I really should stop going onto the road at these really bad times. I really can't see how anyone would willingly wade out into that mess..

Oh yeah, I'm definitely not going to Waterloo today (seeing as I've already missed one hour of the show, and with my luck with traffic, will make it to Waterloo in three hours, meaning that I'd catch the last couple of hours (if I were lucky).

Speaking of Lucky, I haven't heard from that girl in a long time. I wonder how she's doing? About Lucky the song, I can tell you that it's being way too overplayed right now. One the way back from Waterloo, I heard it three times, and twice on my trip to Ikea. I think people will get sick of it pretty soon..

Okay, back to more "productive" stuff.

Laz has a couple of links up for your reading pleasure, while KGL has some sort of painting comment (and who the heck are the.. ah, nevermind).

[8:06 PM EDT - Cry Cataclysm!]

Well, well. It seems as if the coaster that was sitting in the case labeled Homeworld: Cataclysm isn't a coaster after all. *rubs hands gleefully* I think I know what I'll be doing for the next few hours (seeing as whats-her-face didn't call..).
