[12:06 PM EDT - Late. *hangs head*]

What the heck?!? I woke up today, all ready to go, and when I turn over to look at the clock, it reads 11:15. Argh! I had to skip breakfast to make it to school before noon (and succeeded.. sorta). At least I got a lot of sleep last night..

Let's see what's going on..

[12:11 PM EDT - Typo master.]

Argh! What's up with all these typos? I think the number of typos I'm throwing on are on the rise or something. *checks* At least people are noticing and giving me some (usually subtle) hints. Grr..

Actually, I'd be interested to know if there's a spell checker for HTMLized text forms. There probably is.. wait.. Doh! There is! I didn't know that ispell skipped tags! Argh! ("I don't know what I'm doing.") Let me see what mistakes I've made..

[2:26 PM EDT - They mostly come out at night. Mostly.]

I've used the spell checker on the last couple of months. There were less typos and misspellings than I had expected, but it was still pretty bad. I am definitely not a good content writer, but you figure that with enough practice..

I was home alone for a while last night, and the creature (which I guess would be around the size of a raccoon) that was living in our roof/attic started making noise again. Lots of noise. I was pretty sure that the noise was coming from the attic, but I didn't have a flashlight handy so I couldn't check myself. But there are two entrances to the attic (it's a split level house). One required a ladder to reach, but the other one could be reached from the washroom (it was a side panel). The most distinct sound that I heard was that of movement and scratching along the walls of the attic, then there was a loud noise, as if something had dropped from the high part of the attic to the lower half, at which point there was even more scratching and moving (as if the creature was trying to escape). After a little while, I heard something being knocked over and I decided to check out the bathroom entrance. I rolled over the side panel and.. Hmm, the door to the attic was ajar. Hmm, the insulation has been pushed out and the stuff around the door was knocked over. Hmm, I can't see a darned thing in there. I closed the side panel (leaving the attic door open) and waited for HNT to return.

He did return a while later, but only after the noise had stopped. I told him about the noises and he broke out the ladder and flashlights and went to check the attic. Nothing. (Mind you, there was a lot of insulation around, and the creature my have left the attic somehow.) But we both did a semi-through search of the attic (we didn't go all the way in, but checked from the entrances). There were no droppings in the attic, but there were a lot of droppings on the roof, so it was very likely that something was living up there for a little while (from the size of the droppings, it was most likely a raccoon). We searched and searched for the better part of an hour before giving up. We did hear some sounds when we checked the attic the first time, but we couldn't find the source of the noise. *sigh* Next time I guess.

HNT told me that it was like some sort of scary movie, and if he dissapeared that I should call the cops. He wasn't too far off the mark with the scary movie there. Those scratching noises were very disconcerting, and one's imagination can really screw around with your mind. It's too bad I sent my tape deck home. I would've tried to record the sounds..

[5:59 PM EDT - pr0n is good for you!]

I thought HNT was joking when he told me (last week) about this article which I found on the ShackNews. Boy oh boy.

[9:15 PM EDT - Argh!]

In the process of playing around with my scripts, I screwed up one of my logging routines (which I didn't notice for a week). Well, it doesn't affect anyone but me, but still..

In any case, I spent most of the day printing out perl man pages and working on a script. I also got another box to throw my stuff in, but realized later that it was still not enough. Man I've got a lot of stuff to move out of here.. *looks at remaining junk lying around room*

[9:43 PM EDT - Heading out.]

I'm going to get going now. I was checking out pages and noticed that Laz has some links up. Tiffi has had another long ordeal in school (Astronomy is classified under Business? *flips through calendar* That's news to me!)

I don't feel like I've accomplished much today, and my allergies are starting to shift into overdrive. *achoo* Guh. *blows nose* I'm okay, I'm okay, I'm still concious. But it's still hard to keep my eyes open.. *squints at the monitor* With that, I think I should head out. *stumbles out door*
