This is a little embarassing. Although the comment script that I redid worked perfectly, I renamed my scripts and changed the names in all of my scripts. Almost. I personally don't like using javascript, so I keep it turned off. As you can guess, I forgot to change the java scripts. How annoying. So I must apologize for that little slip-up. It should be working now.
I'm currently working on the site access script to make it more flexible. It sure is taking a long time..

Erk. It seems as if my constant fiddling with my pages have resulted in some pages not being valid HTML 4.0! That's annoying. I will have to look into it, but the culprit seems to be my use of javascripts..

Well, by now most of you already have heard that Microsoft has been hacked. There are articles about it everywhere and it should probably be mentioned in the news by now. Hmm, we'll see how Microsoft reacts to all of this..
Apart from that, it's been fairly bland newswise. I have yet to take a look at the "Dungeons and Dragons" trailer because I don't have quicktime installed on my system. Erk. Personally, I still don't have high hopes for that movie..

What a nice day it is today. Too bad I didn't realize how warm it was until I actually stepped outside of the house (during the day) this afternoon. Crap. I wasted some of the best fall weather to play around with this page. Sucky.
Oh well, another problem I've been having is with my sound card. Ever since I installed Windows 2000, I've been getting a lot of static out of my speakers, and there are times when the sound card garbles up sound pretty badly. I'm not sure what the cause is, but I'm sure my sound card does seem to like Win2k (I've got a Monster Sound MX300). It's also been interfering with game sounds (like Counter-Strike and Cataclysm) and MP3s don't sound as good as they used to. Too bad Vortex went belly up. Oh well, I guess I'll have to look into this problem at some point in time.
What I want to do is to show some Kare Kano before visitors start arriving. Must hook people.. *throws out fishing line*

After a little hiatus, I've gone back to looking for a way to get NetMeeting to work with my router. I found some information on the Microsoft site here and here. Both say the same sort of stuff, but I just wanted two sources in case one disappears on me. We'll see if this works..
