[10:11 PM EDT - Happy returns.]

I'm back in the land of understandable traffic signs and drivable roads. Ugh. Anyway, I won't say much right now since I just came back and I really, really need to go to the bathroom (I've been holding it in all this time). I'm also suffering from internet widthdrawal, but in any case, this is to prove that I'm still alive after my weekish long trip to Montreal. More later. Stay tuned.

[11:30 PM EDT - Eighty odd.]

Geez, I go away for just a few days and I've got eighty messages in my inbox! Argh! Perhaps the internet life is not the life for me. Speaking of the internet, I find it oddly annoying that people don't seem to talk about much on the sites I frequent. (Okay, so Laz has been away on a trip as well.) But only KGL and Jax had something to say.

Anyway, I've got tons of notes written down from stuff that happened over the past few days. None of it really interesting, but I should be putting them up over the next few days. (Then I go on another trip and then have to start all over again!) Argh, I didn't even send out postcards this time. Okay, Victoria.. I'll remember in Victoria.

Geez, and I still have to pay Laz back for the hotel room.. oi, not the most organized person am I? Okay, sleep is calling..

[Tuesday, October 24, 2000: Great eggspectations.]

Werdna got up early this morning. His rummaging woke me up and I checked the time. It was 8:42. Eh, close enough. I turned off the alarm and went back to sleep. I got up a little while later and made a phone call before taking a shower. Checkout at the hotel was at one. No problem.

Anyway, after having brunch down at Eggspectation (the eggs were sort of runny, but the french toast was good), I made it back to the hotel with a few minutes to spare. After quickly checking the room, I handed in the keys right at one o'clock. I always seem to cut it close don't I? Well.. I guess not. Usually, I'm just plain late. I hung around at the front desk asking about my towel. After waiting around for anumber of minutes, I was told that yesterdays batch of towels had already been sent off to be cleaned. The earliest that they would be able to check would be tomorrow. Tomorrow? Argh! The only other option was to take one of the hotel's towels in exchange. I decided that was the only option left to me, but had to wait another ten minutes before I towel was sent to the front desk. Next time, I'll bring my dolphin towel. If they mix THAT one up, then I'd be pissed.

Afterward, we headed off to Fairview to drop off Laz's tux, then over to SJ's place to drop off some of the wedding decorations before heading back home. The trip back was (again) fairly uneventul, although I did end up taking the wheel during the last leg of the journey. We toyed around with the idea of setting up a LAN at Laz's place for some Counter Striking, but thought better of it. After having dinner at the Keg, we went our separate ways.
