[12:18 PM EDT - A new day.]

I just got up this afternoon. I don't think I have anything planned, but the weather looks nice today. I should probably spend some time outside. *ponders*

I might as well figure out what's going on in the world today..

Oh geez, I forgot to mention last night two cloning shorts that I saw on the ShackNews. One has a group that wants to clone Jesus, the other group wants to clone some kid that died. Ick, what is this world coming to? (Alright, nobody say Armageddon.)

For more recent news, there's this idea of terraforming Mars, and a report of some (512 bit!) code breaking done by a bunch of Swedes I saw over at ZDNet.

[12:50 PM EDT - Spying crushes.]

There are updates from the usual suspects. KGL's revamping her website (I like it, even though it's a little fruity), while Laz's boss is spying on him with one of those X-10 cameras (I still have to install my Firecracker system I got last year). Last but not least, Tiffi has a crush! I'm not the only one! Ha!

Okay, I should be eating lunch soon..

[10:13 PM EDT - Hot pot.]

I went out for a hot pot dinner with my parents. The food was good, but the selection was pretty small. Oh well, free food is always good!

Checking up on news, I found this article on the ShackNews which seems to be directed at me (or people like me). Anyway, you too can find out why gamers are the worst people to date. Another article has the courts upholding the law (in Indianapolis) baring minors from playing violent games.

While I'm (sort of) on the topic of violent games, here's a quote from George W. Bush from the presidental debate last night:

"Columbine spoke to a larger issue [than gun control], and it's really a matter of culture. It's a culture that somewhere along the line we began to disrespect life, where a child can....have their heart turn dark as a result of being on the Internet, and walk in and decide to take somebody else's life."

Great, more finger pointing. Didn't I say something about this a while ago? There's a commentary about it on The Register. I first saw this on the ShackNews. (I love the Dubya.)
