I got wind of this from HT who told me that Rogers was having this new extreme edition of their high speed cable modem for the same price as their regular one! All you need to do is buy the high speed modem, and voila! The only caveat is that I should be looking at the Motorola cable modem if I have the chance. It's better quality.

Early rise? Strange, I got up on time despite not being able to sleep last night. Well, it's the end of the week, but this weekend looks busy already. Strange how stuff like this happens huh?

I found myself walking around outside and came across this balcony where there was a very old fashioned barber's stool and mirror. I took a closer look and noticed how everything looked so.. old. I thought it was pretty cool and figured that Squishy would've liked to see this. For some reason I wanted to try it out even though I just had my hair cut. So when the barber came outside to ask me if I wanted a shave, I decided to take him up on the offer. I had a bit of stubble, and I thought the experience would be worth it.

Hmm, I was talking with HT and he was telling me that my slow bandwith may be because of my cable modem. Now, we've had cable modem for five years now, and we haven't replaced the cable modem. However, we've never reached the 3Mbps speeds touted by the ads. If it indeed because of the modem, I want a new modem! *shakes fist*

HT also sent me a link to a website that checks the upload/download speeds of your connection. Now what I need to do is to find a text based one..
