[12:38 AM EDT - Time wasted.]

Oi. There were a few things I wanted to do this weekend. I wanted to get my hair cut and buy groceries. Unfortunately, I've been spending most of my time in front of my computer trying to figure out how to get PHP working on this site.

Well, it could be worse. I could've been spending that time downloading pr0n. (Which is only slightly less useful.) At least I got the basics out of the way: taking a shower, feeding the fish and watering the plants.

Hmm, maybe I should make lasagna for dinner? I've got a craving for pasta..

[12:49 AM EDT - Dream Sequence: Spider eggs.]

I've been forgetting to write down my dreams of late (again). But most of the ones I've had have been so bizarre as to defy description. (Which is probably one reason why I don't even bother trying to write them down and explain them.) During brunch, Pokey mentioned something about spiders and nests, and that reminded me of a dream I had some time ago.

I was confronted by a very large spider which I quickly dispatched. Unfortunately, it had a giant egg sack attached to it, and I needed to get rid of it before the baby spiders had a chance to escape. Using my chopsticks, I tried to lift the ball of mini-spiders and place it into an incinerator, but the sack collapsed, and large globs of spiderbabies gushed forth in large blobs. I got rid of the shell and began the difficult task of lifting up these gelatinous mounds without breaking them further into smaller chunks. I was having a hard time with it and was ready to use my hands..

[12:52 AM EDT - Before I go to sleep.]

Oh geez. I've got e-mail that I've been sitting on for days. I should get rid of it before I call it a night.

[9:17 AM EDT - That I overlooked be-three!]

TT showed me a three-leaf clover made from a power cable and it brought to mind a song that Laz would bring up every now and then. So I looked for it and found the lyrics. I noticed that Laz took some liberties with the words, but I like his version better.

[9:20 AM EDT - Need the week to recover.]

Oi. I hurt. My schedule looks pretty good this week, but I'm wondering what I'll be doing when ultimate starts picking up. Oh boy.

[11:32 AM EDT - Twenty-one inches are available.]

Ooh, the Dell Financial Services site has some 21" monitors available for $265. Add to that the 10% discount and free shipping and I'm very tempted to try out some dual monitor goodness..

The again, I'll need to find a desk that won't collapse when I stack two of these monstrosities on it..

[11:34 AM EDT - The big ones are gone.]

Geez, no sooner did I see these monitors for sale, that they disappeared from the list. It's definitely a good deal.

[12:03 PM EDT - Head ache.]

I've got a very minor headache. It's most likely cause by my lack of sleep last weekend. Then again, I might've absorbed too many photons when I was working on my site. Maybe I should take it easy? Avoid the computer? Hope the hard drive fails again?

Naw..

[1:58 PM EDT - While I'm thinking of lyrics..]

I kept getting the words to that Turkey song by Homer going through my head, so I went to look up the lyrics and came across a Simpson's Lyrics site.

[11:08 PM EDT - Power out.]

Geez, my server went down, and I couldn't figure out what had happened to it until I got home. The power in my block had gone out. There were lots of kids out in the street, partially because of the amazing weather, and partially because there probably wasn't anything else to do inside.

I forgot to mention a catch I made yesterday. We had finished our practice and I was standing around when someone shouted "Heads up!". I quickly threw my hands up behind my head to protect myself and at that moment, the disc collided with my hands and head and stuck there. It was the first no-look behind the head head catch I've ever made! (From a hammer throw no less.)

I think I burned a lot of karma with that trick.

[11:59 PM EDT - The old staple.]

Because of the power outtage, I wasn't able to make my lasagna. That was unfortunate. Hopefully I'll have time tomorrow to make it.
