[10:50 AM EDT - Up space.]

There's something funny going on with my laptop. Everytime I press the space bar, the mouse cursor moves up one cursor height. It started happening only a week or so ago, but I can't remember making any changes to my system in the recent past. Ah well, it's not like it's stopping me from working..

[11:12 AM EDT - Driving habits.]

I've been slowly changing my driving habits since I got my GT-S. I used to accelerate fairly slowly as the cars I was driving didn't have a lot of guts. So I actually quite quite fuel efficient and spent relatively less money on gas. But now, with driving stick and in these sporty cars, I've been pushing the pedal and reving the engine. It's hard not to when you actually have the ability to drive around like that. I also enjoy driving a lot more.

As such, my gas bills have since gone up, and now I'm debating whether or not I should just take it easy again now that gas prices are so high. *rubs chin* It's too bad I don't have a milage meter on my car. It might make me think twice on redlining at second gear.

[2:09 PM EDT - With relish!]

Argh! I think this is the first time someone at Harvey's has done this to me. As I was waiting for the condiments to be put into the burger (I always order lettuce, onions, ketchup, mayonnaise, and tomatos), I noticed the girl apply some relish on the burger. I told her that I didn't ask for any relish, and at that point she basically stopped functioning. I had to repeat my toppings several times at several speeds before I was able to walk her through finishing my order. Oi vey. I'm glad I'm not allergic to relish.

[7:00 PM EDT - Kill Bill (for real).]

Hey, I haven't seen 'Kill Bill: Vol 2' yet. I'm thinking of catching the cheap flick tomorrow now that my Tuesday nights are free (for a little while).

[7:14 PM EDT - News Bytes: Luck for looks?]

I went by ArsTechnica and found out that apparently guys like me have a chance. (Now all I need to do is to canvass those college grounds.) There's also some neat info on getting your own tax shelter in Anguilla online.

I also found an article about the the hoopla and myths surrounding the anti-fat jihad very interesting. I actually know a number of large people who are in shape, and I know a few "unthin" girls who are quite attractive. So really, fat is not bad:

"It all depends on where it's 'stacked'"

Thank you GP. FlyingS originally posted it on his blog.

[7:15 PM EDT - Lightning crashes.]

Yoiks, this storm blew in from out of nowhere! I'm going to see if I can get things done just in case the power goes out..

[7:42 PM EDT - Sun's shining..]

What a nice sunset.. I guess the storm was pretty localized?

[11:11 PM EDT - Steering]

I found a site on steering techniques on Gran Turismo. I think it applies to real life too, but for front wheel drive cars things aren't as easy..

[11:24 PM EDT - Awfully hungry.]

Hmm, I'm hungry for some reason. Badminton went okay. I didn't play all that well, but I did do a lot of stretching before so I don't feel so bad right now.

I should go to the bank tomorrow to do my RRSPs, and I've been invited out to a birthday party on Saturday.
