[10:56 AM EDT - That was refreshing..]

Ahh, it's nice to get a good night's rest. I hope to go to sleep early tonight as well, as I'm feeling a little sore still, but it's much better now!

Okay, off to lunch. I might have other things to do today, but we'll have to see..

[5:46 PM EDT - Fried.]

Argh! I was finishing up reinstalling the software on the parental unit's machine when I decided to test out a hard drive that KW gave me to test out. Well, I plugged it in, and as I started up the machine, it slipped and fell on the motherboard! I quickly put it on a more secure spot but the video didn't come up, and the monitor gave me a yellow blinking light. Annoyed, I restarted the machine. Same thing. I figured that the hard drive might've been sucking up too much power, so I took it off and rebooted the machine. Same thing.

Uh oh. I put in another video card to make sure that the machine at least worked (it did sound like it was starting up and stuff). Same thing. Argh! I might've clobbered that PC. I'm going to have to do some extensive testing to figure out what's wrong. (All because I wanted to install some stupid Chinese language thing..) From now on, I say that we should all stick with English!

In other news, I still haven't gotten a call yet, so I'm not sure what's going on. Seeing how late it's getting, I'm probably going to be staying home. (I have been doing some cleaning up at least.)

[7:48 PM EDT - Fallen.]

Hrumph. When I came back from lunch, I heard a strange scraping sound whenever I was turning left. I didn't make too much of it until my parents came home and told me that the car was broken. Of course, I always take their claims with a grain of salt, so I went to check out the car after dinner and noticed that one of the plastic.. uh.. thing on the bottom (I forgot the name) had fallen off. The plastic nub had come loose, and the screw that kept it in place was still in, but the lip in the chassis that it was connected to had rusted off. There's no way I can reattach it that way, so I may have to just clip it on so that it doesn't drag around when I'm driving. (It only has to last a few months right?)

[11:36 PM EDT - More computer problems.]

I've been trying to back up some of my data to CDs. Actually, I've got a set of CD-RWs that I use to save some of my stuff, but I've recently started getting problems with this writer. After I tried accessing a file with bad data, it's been acting funny since then. Hopefully I didn't break it.

At least I got a phone call finally! Well, considering the time, I was sort of expecting it (a phone call that is). Ah well, I got some cleanup done. I've got more to do later, but I'll leave that for another day..
