I'm going to have another busy day out of the office. Since I won't have internet access, I won't be able to check my mail today until I get home after the game. Oh well.
I've got a tooth that's bothering me. The gums at the base of the tooth feels raw and scratched, and it hasn't gotten better in the past week. I'm hazarding a guess that it might be because of my crowded jaw getting reorganized in a way that I probably won't like. I may need to get some teeth pulled out, but I'm going to get a second opinion first. Mind you, I'm not sure who to get a second opinion from. Who should I get to take a look at this tooth? A dentist? A peridontist? An orthodontist?
Well, I was out at a client site all day, so I didn't have any access to e-mail, nor did I have any real access to the internet. (It's pretty hard to surf while you're charging a client for your services.) But things are good, although I think we are falling behind. One of our tests ended up taking up all day, and it's still not finished! So we're changing our procedures so that we can actually sit around and watch the data get converted rather than putting it away for the weekend (which would be a bad thing).
I got back and went straight to the pub to watch the hockey game. I was expecting to be late, but I got there just in time for the opening sequence. There were four people there already, although I had expected the entire clan to have shown up by the time I had gotten there!
The game was good, although the venue was somewhat smokey. Partway into the second period, I felt a hand grab my right shoulder so I turned around and it was Laz! Apparently he had taken up my offer to show up at the pub to watch the game! (Although he and Pops didn't sit with us as it was a little crowded.)
After the game I went with the two of them to play some pool. Free pool! That's always good. The quality of the equipment wasn't all that great, but considering my skill level and my money level, free is always good!
I played a number of games, and realized that I just got worse and worse as the day went on. In addition, my shoulders started to stiffen up and I was getting way too tense. The probably didn't help with my shots all that much. I'll have to relax more. Relax.. relax..
